We are going to DW Jan. 9-18. Yesterday was a real rainy day here in the Boston area, and I thought...I gotta start our plan!! :D I think I spent a good 3 hours, starting over a nice big breakfast with the kids and my husband talking it all over, how fun. Then I got to the "list". The list of all the things not to forget. This thing has helped me for the last four trips and we've never forgotten a thing, but it takes thinking down to every last detail. I love it, I love it!

I'm kinda frustrated that we don't have our hours yet. But we have the plan done, yay! The only thing that won't change after getting the hours is Hoop De Doo, on Jan. 12 :D , the kids can't wait for that. I can't wait for this trip!!!

I am going Jan 3-10 and have been planning this vacation probably since september...i am in my senior year of college, so whenever the stress of school gets to me, I take a break and think Disney! Just made my priority seatings last week (and got everything i wanted)! and am beginning work on my daily plans! :yo-yo:

We are going Jan 4-10 Dh, Ds and inlaws we are so excited ds will only be nine monthe and it will be his first trip. We got our ps last week everything we wanted especially since we have a party of 10 including kids. I can't wait to go it will be here so soon.

We are also hoping to get ds's first hair cut at wdw.

Can't wait!!!

We're going Jan 4-11. I haven't done an itinerary, because I think we're just doing the same thing we did in May- it was a great week and I don't want to mess with what works! No PS either. Last trip, I made them at 90 days, only to get there and change them all! I'm pretty confident we'll be able to get what we want, so I'm at least waiting for hours before I bother. Hopefully hours will be out 2 months ahead this time around, instead of one month like they were last spring.

I can't wait for January!!:bounce:

We leave home January 1 in the afternoon and get to WDW on the morning of the 2nd. We will be staying until the 13th. I have done a "rough" itinerary of which park will be on which day. Since we are staying off property, we will not be able to take advantage of early entry. I have made sure to schedule our park days so we aren't there on the EE day. The only PS I have made is for Cindy's breakfast but I have written out where we will eat on what day. I will probably make a couple PS's as we get closer to our trip and the park hours are posted. Maybe I will see some of you there, wear your lime green! Dawn

We are going the 17th-23rd. I have a rough idea of where we want to go and when. I have our PS planned out because I have to make those this week. I know that most probably aren't necessary, but Cinderella's Breakfast and the Illuminations Cruise were on my list, and they HAD to be done.

Started? Honey I started almost a year ago LOL!

I have been living, eating and breathing nothing but Disney info. for so long now that I have no idea how I am going to handle the post stress of not checking out things constantly. I LOVE PLANNING :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

We are going Jan. 23-31 for my dd's 6th bday. We will do the Princess at Epcot on her actual bday and I am bringing a Jasmine costume (her fave next to Ariel) for her to wear as a surprise. We are going to do Dining with Shamu the night we arrive and then we will spend a second day at SW later in the week. I have checked out the historical hours at the parks and have planned based on that but it is fairly flexible. I just wish the Jan. hours would come out before I have to call in for our 90 day ressies.

The Friday before we go home I have left open for shopping, shopping and more shopping! That evening we will go to Dolly's Dixie Stampede since my dd loves horses like crazy.

I just cannot wait to enjoy this trip through her eyes with the wonder and amazement of a child who is at their favorite place on earth. One thing dh and I have agreed on is to be flexible no matter what comes up.

Hoop Dee Doo I can't wait to see all of you!!

Only 86 days left to plan!!! How hard to believe is that!? I remember when it was 300 days. We aren't really planning our days yet. As it gets closer we will have a day to day idea of where we will be. We are only having one PS, and that's for 50's Prime Time. We had an awesome time there when oldest DD was 7. My kiddos don't know when we're going yet either. I can still share some of it with them, the know we're going just not what month.

I can hardly WAIT!!!!!! Mickey is missing me I a m sure!!!!

I would love to start planning, but, I need to know what nights have fireworks. Is that information out yet? We are going Jan 10 thru Jan 16.

We will be there Jan. 2-7 and have been making plans of new restaurants that we want to try - no PS's yet. We are also hoping to enjoy some of the Christmas decorations that will be up yet. One of our most important plans is to hopefully have some warm, sunny weather so that we can soak up some good ol' sun while we are there!! I am like the rest of you -- I love to plan our trip when things around here get stressful!! It is wonderful to have our trip to look forward to!:earsboy:

Hi all.

Heading to WDW Jan 9-14 (DH is running the marathon that Sunday!). I have been planning for a while. I have even made some PS arrangements too.

I know park hours aren't out yet, but I use the historical hours page and try to plan from that (roughly). The site is www.wdisneyw.co.uk/hours.html

Hope it helps!

Colette

We'll be there from the 10th through 16th - with a family like mine :earseek: I have to stay very flexible! I've been planning for a long ! time, but the 'crew' keeps changing things on me !... SIL not coming as he will be returning to work in Dec after illness... step-son not coming as his other grandparents are taking him to WDW the day we return.... my parents not coming since they'll now be moving... DH now joining us on day 5 as he found out he may be out of the country until then .... we're down to me:smooth: , both DDs, new baby granddaughter and DS - at least I'll have all of my kids together for our first 'joint' vacation at WDW in almost 10 years ! That's enough to make me smile :teeth: (and DH will be there for my birthday dinner!- and did I mention my incredibly beautiful new granddaughter princess: ?!) :teeth: .... just tonight my plans changed again as DDs best friend moved to Fla and has never been to WDW - we just love having a newbie along!!(and we miss him!) - but now I have to include a few more 'must do' events for him ! I hope they don't change the hours too much from last year - good thing I love pre-trip planning - every time my group changes, so do my plans!!!!

I've been planning since May. That's when I bought my first guide book and started reading. Now we know which days we're heading to which park. Passes and Cirque tickets have been purchased. Today I bought film...it's on sale at Target. I'm still researching restaurants. 2 1/2 months to go and I can't wait.

Gail -

Your making me look bad, not only do I have Feb 2004 mapped out with dates listed in brackets of when to call for each item, I started my Feb 2005 chart to make sure I do everything I want for this once in a lifetime family trip:)

I'm a firm believer in intineraries, especially when you're travelling with a group or children. It certainly beats hearing this phrase all vacation long, "What do you want to do?" "I don't know, what do you want to do?" Our January trip is for DH and I only, so I think this time around, I'm going to take off my trip planner hat and just wing it.

So, if you're in WDW between January 3rd and the 7th and you happen to notice two adults in their late 30's asking each other, "what do you want to do?" "I don't know, what do you want to do?", just shake your head knowingly at us and walk on by.

We are going January 27-Feb 2. I have been doing lots of reading and have thoughts about what we will be doing but haven't really made a plan yet. I like others am impatiently waiting for hours to be posted. I am also dying to know what the weather will be like. I would love to do a water park but am not sure we will be able to. (If only I could see the future).

Question for everyone. Do you ever feel like you are more excited about the trip than you kids? My girls (3 and 5) are excited but they dont seem to think about it as often as I do.

Jan5-16 ... planned , replanned and still planning...got Ps but am going to change a couple, a general what park /what day which may change when I get fireworks times and a budget that seems feasible. planning is 1/2 the fun for me!

We're going Jan 9-17th. I absolutely live and breathe trip planning:) I know it drives my family totally CRAZY :crazy2:

I wish they would get the hours posted so I could nail down at least which days to be where and so forth. Does anyone know when they usually post hours? I made lots of PS's for every day of the week because I'm not sure yet where were gonna be!!

Thanks ColetteN for the info. It was very helpful.

I'll be wearing my lime green.

Oh yeah, as soon at I booked our January 24-28 trip I started working on our itinerary.

I too wish the January operating hours were available, but I'm just assuming the parks will be closing early during our visit.

We don't go commando, but I do like to plan which park we'll be in each day and make PS ressies.
