ok...maybe I'm playing too much of a shell game here,wwyd?
I booked 5 of the 6 seats we need on airtran for a January 3 departure- chose the seats,left one middle seat empty chose 5 around it,and am thinking I can wait to book for how long? My reasoning is I'm trying to use some cc rewards for that last seat,but it's a new cc,and I haven't even gotten the 1st statement yet- I called today,and cc company said I won't see rewards posted till 30 days AFTER I get my 1st statement..... that could put me at mid October before I get them- is this too much time to wait? there are still plenty of available seats on the plane,and I reasoned that the empty rows would go before my one little lone empty seat in the middle of my 5
Is there any way to use rewards before they post to my acct? it seems so unfair,considering I've already paid the balance of this new cc in full.........
