January Crowds

We want to visit Disneyland in January. On what day in January do the New Years crowds die down? Are the crowds gone by January 3rd or should we wait until the following week?

I would expect the crowds to be there through Sunday after New Years, and die down considerably after that.

I agree - I just wanted to add that the hours of operation will change as well - And the parade schedule too -
