Okay...the 18th. As of right now Shep and I can make it. Now we need hotel recommendations. Any recommendations. Nothing expensive please.

I need to know where we will be seeing it before we can recommend good places to stay. Nancy is REALLY good about getting Priceline hotels in the area!!!

I just called the box office, and TLK is playing until March at the Addison theater! So we can do TLK just like we did last year with B&TB. We can head over to Famous Dave's after, or we can do Dave & Busters, or whatever we want to do.

So if it is ok with everyone, Let's make it the Addison Theater, Saturday, January 18th, around 12:00 - 1:00 for the movie, and we can decide later on post movie festivities.

Since several of you mentioned my name (thanks!)...I'll tell you what I did last year for a hotel. I bid on Priceline for a 2-1/2 star hotel in Elmhurst and got the Courtyard with a $25 (I think) bid. There's a better hotel selection in the Schaumburg area, and it's close to lots of shopping (Woodfield Mall, IKEA). Go to www.biddingfortravel.com for more info about getting a Priceline hotel. Remember that if Priceline accepts your bid and then you can't go, you've still paid for a hotel room.

Ok, now that a date has been set with a movie time to follow. I'd like to start the voting on the 'after the movie grub'. Our vote goes to Famous Dave's. Yummy food and a good time was had by all last time......why mess with a good thing!!!

Shep said he could take a vacation day and stay till Monday, I would love to take in a museum and see some of the sights....I just think we will be rushed to make it for the Lion King Movie. Maybe we could meet everyone afterwards.

I hadn't really thought of that Amanda since I don't get that holiday anymore. Sounds like a nice way to make a weekend out of it.
