January AP discounts?

Boy, it really burns me when you call at 7 am, ask if AP discounts are out, they check and say no. Right, have a magical day! Next time maybe that CM should really check.

Thanks. I'm having trouble getting the page to load. I get as far as the passholder page that shows the discounts, but when I click on "Check Availability Now", I get a blank page. Anyone else having this problem?

Yes, I had this problem too. It took a few times of me closing out of my browser and reloading.

It has been touch and go for me as well, I just finally gave up and called the PH line and got right through, much easier than dealing with a page that wont load.

Checking rates and I have a question that I am hoping someone may answer..

I have booked under the GP. If I try and switch to AP only a more expensive room is available. If I add a day to the beginning I get the less expensive room at a lower rate. I wish that we could go down a day early then I wouldn't mind adding it.

Here is the question "if I add the day and get the better rate for the week can I go back and drop the additional later if I can't find a way to make it a day early and keep the lower rate for the whole trip, or will it go back to the higher/upgraded room because I dropped one"

Oh wow, that is great!!! Did you previously have a GP or visa discount? I only saved another $40 for my 4 nights on top of the visa discount.

POP preferred room only $5 less than Disney Visa room only discount I had. CM tried to get me to change my 6 night standard Pop ressie with 7 day passes and upgrade to regular dining (Disney card stay & play with the mistake rate) to no tickets and I turned it down. I priced it out on official site and I would have had to pay $150 more to purchase the 7 day passes with the AP room only discount + dining. I'll save the passes for later and keep the $150 discount on them, thank you very much!

Yes, I had another previous discount (AAA).
PopC for four nights was $518, now is $391.
I'm thinking about upgrading to a moderate.

hmmm. no moderates for the ap discount for 2/8 & 2/9? darn!

was thinking of adding a weekend before or after my dvc stay . I wonder if the discount on the (higher cost) 2/15 and 2/16 would better than the general public discount (which I hope is still available) for 2/9 and 2/10 nights.

Also, when checking the moderates for the 9th and 10th, not seeing standard room for moderates, just preferred and king rooms.

I'm happy to be still be going, because I was able to take advantage of the earlier 35% discount, so I can't feel too bad about the 2%... but I'm a little disappointed that the AP is not available for our stay at a standard room at BC in Jan 2-12. AP discount only available for pool/water view which would cost another $600 total, also CL @ even more $. Oh well, not what it used to be, even the 37% figure for deluxe sounded lower than I remember for AP discount.

Yes, last year I got WL with a 40% AP discount and a few yrs ago Poly with 45% AP discount, now it's 37% Really?

Well, that was a non-event.....

Sure was We are booked at POFQ, and the AP was no better then the GP, a measly 5% I booked FQ with the Stay Play Dine. Better then the AP!
