January 7th through the 11th...How will the Crowds be??

Just wondering if anyone might be able to share with me what the crowds will be like during the time frame of January 7th through the 11th .

We go every year for sure in January but have always gone the first week in January the 2nd through like the 7th....in 2005 that time frame was great real low crowds but kind of rainy weather but not too bad.......but since then every year has been pretty crowded so we decided this coming up year 2008 we would push our dates to the second week in January.

Thanks for any info.
I am a big disney fan and we are ap holders but I just don't have as much luck predicting the best time to go for low crowds.

That sounds like a good time to me. You'll miss most of the holiday slopover by then, I would guess, people will be broke from gift-giving and other vacationing, the weather isn't that great....sounds just about perfect to me! (But I don't know for sure, I've never been there then...)

We went at this exact time of year this year. It was very nice crowd wise and we were actually in a heat wave. It was high 80's. Not what we had anticipated at all! The only rides down for us were Dumbo and HMH (to take down the overlay)

Anyway, the best news I have for you is that the EP will be running on Friday when you are there. So I say GO GO GO!

Its good to ehar that what I suspect it will be like at that time of year it should be like.
I am getting so excited we have our ressies all set up and now all we do is wait and save a littel extra spending cash of course for all those goodies we like to buy when we are down every year so that we can add them to our Disney museum room we have at the house set up.
Who say's you need to use an extra living room as a formal living room...........I say set it up for all things Disney!!!
