We leave in 29 days for POR and we don't have docs, either. We have our room, however, 6630, and we are so ready for this. Its our "25th" and we are going to celebrate to the max.

That is a large accomplishment these days and what a way to celebrate. We are staying at POR also, but starting on the 2nd, my daughter is celebrating her 21st :bday: She is a christmas baby and is celebrating for 21 days starting 12/25 and ending with the cruise on the 14th.

Say, We should meet up at POR, PM if you want too. I am doing a suprise illumnations 2 hour cruise the night we get there with another couple, well at least I am trying to work it out, not finalized yet and that I can keep it a suprise, that is really hard.

Hope to meet you on the ship or at POR.

PS, if you like dinner shows and you haven't been to one yet, I highly recommend the Hoop Dee Doo Review a lot of fun and pretty good food as well for a fun evening before the cruise since you are celebrating to the max...

Did you book a GTY stateroom?

Dan

Well, please don't keep us in suspense after all this time. Where is it? Did you get upgraded? :teacher:

We paid for a GTY CAt 12-we were upgraded to a Cat 11! However we got a handicapped room-so it is huge!

Dan

My son (8) and I are joining my mother sister and niece (4) and nephew (8) are going to be on the Magic cruise, Jan. 7-14. My sister has done the Disney cruise before, but I haven't. Any suggestions for the newbie? I don't even know what questions to ask.

What shore excursions are really worthwhile?

Thanks,

Dana

Wow another 4 year old girl. We will have to get them all together. Perhaps if we introduce them early on they will feel more comfortable going to the club if they can go together. My daughter is very social and happy as long as there is something interesting going on; however, I do have fear that she will hate the club and there will be no reading quietly in a deck chair or relaxing dinners without child. Heaven forbid!

Hello all! (sorry I copied and pasted this from other thread!)

As many of my August Repo cruise mates know, I am a restaraunt manager for Taco Bell. My building just recieved an awesome remodel and reopened last July. Well during my shift Thursday the restaraunt caught fire! I had to evacuate the building , went back in and tried to contain the fire but it was too far gone! The building was a complete loss! This has been a complete roller coaster for me! All of my employess are being taken care of at other locations and we will rebuild.

Dan, I sure hope you and everyone was all right and there were no injuries and only building damage. And yes you can rebuild. It looks like it was a bad weather that day as well. Try not to worry to much. Look for what caused the problem and incorroprate enhanced safegards for the future. This will be a tough few weeks for you, you will be stronger for what you learned by this event. Even though you remodeled, there most likely have been improvements that can be added this time and I am sure fire retardent systems will be one on them.

Any way Dan, cheer up you are leaving in a few weeks for a wonderful adventure that won't include worries of the world, just sheer pleasure and pampering by Disney. Don't miss the cruise, the issues of business will be there when you return. You will need this cruise more now than ever.

Here are happy thoughts for you :wave2:

Count us in!! Myself, my husband. 9 yr old daughter (who will celebrate her 10th B-day on the ship 1/11), and my parents. I paid for my daughter's best friend to come too. So they can celebrate her B-day all week. Her best friends aunt and uncle are also cruising with us. This way if they have a meltdown half way through the cruise, they can go to seperate cabins and cool off!!!

BUT most important......

We got our cruise docs today!!!!

Be on the lookout for yours!! Only 23 more days to go!!!

Count us in too ..... Myself, husband, DD 1 and DS 5. I saw where the last post was from Pigeon Forge and had to reply, we are in Knoxville!! This is our special Homecoming Vacation/  Cruise ..... my husband just returned from Iraq. Hoping for a little extra Pixie Dust to make this trip super special!!

This is wonderful welcome aboard

Please tell your husband Thank you for his service and the fine job he has been doing.

And what a way for you to welcome him home.

Thank you so much. Here's the funny thing .... He said if anyone asked him what one of the first things he planned to do when he got home ..... he said he would say "I'm going to Disney." We're counting down the days.

I'm going on this cruise with my parents, 2 sisters, 12 and 6, our neighbor's (Mom and Dad, Son 8 and Daughter 12) and my best friend (Both 15 year old girls). This is my families 2nd eastern disney cruise, and we've been on the western also (all seven days). It's everyone else's first time. Are there any other teenagers comming!!??
:cheer2: I'm a cheerleader. . :bored: best friend is a super athlete!

I'll add my welcome to Merlin 1 also. My DD will turn 4 in February and is very excited about the club. I hope they still have the story time with Snow White since she is a big favorite. (Not as big as Princess Aurora, who I understand is normally not on the cruise). Have you decided on shore excursions yet?
On my two past cruises, I've gotten Aurora's autograph both times, and even a picture (She had on her blue dress instead of pink, so it was a little confusing for my little sister). Although, these cruises were 2 and 4 years ago, so things may have changed.
