January 4, 2007 Wonder

Harvest is over here for the Awald family, so just some minor field work and time to focus on WDW & DCL. It's always a little melodramatic at the end of harvest - the year's work, for the most part, complete, so happiness; but with the absence of growing crops, things look pretty bleak in Northern Indiana.

The Killam's will be at the Poly on the saturday before the cruise. Giving us an extra day for travel, (my DS was worried about a freek snow storm and we might have to cancel) just in case. :woohoo: See you at the volcano pool.
SKillam

Don't you mean Wednesday? We sail on Thursday.... I think...

Maybe I messed up, but our land and sea trip was booked to start on sunday at disney and the cruise thursday....My son was worried that we would never get there if a snow storm suddenly showed....So we will be arriving at the poly on saturday. We are also on the resort for an extra day after the cruise. To much planning.. I get so confused. But the Killam's will be there come H--- or high water....... Talk to you soon.. Stan :cool1:

Oh OK, now i understand. :D I was just concerned we'd have no one to wave to!

Sounds like a fabulous vacation you have planned. We are doing one day before, and 4 days after, ourselves. first day at BCV and then 4 days after cruise at SSR. Can hardly wait!

getting our DD "fitted" for her princess gown...evidently that's a big deal for little girls with the PRINCESSES. 45 days? Really? I better get cracking on planning our land portion!

I think we have everything booked that we want to book.

late seating for dinner
SCUBA for DD 12 and myself and nothing for DW, as she wants it.
No Palo
No spa

I hope all is well with everyone.

The Killam's do as well.....I think. We are early diners. Dolphins in Nassau. Some fun on the Cay... No Palo and no Spa as well. We are already spoiled enough.. Just going on the vacation is a spoiling enough. See you there..... Stan

Yes, we plan on taking DD to the Bippity Boppity Boutique, so says my wife! I am not sure how much a 23mo will be able to enjoy there, but all the same. We booked the bottomfishing at CC for dad and I, a thank you for him taking us on our cruise! it beats the fishing we can do here in January! We are late diners as well, no Palo again.

I've tried to list the group.
Look over the list in the original post and let me know if I need to make changes.

:wave2: OOPS..... You spelled the name wrong.......Killam.....That's OK...not the first time. My wife just informed me, 36 more sleeps till we land @ Disney. :cheer2: :cool1: :cheer2: Can't wait. Stan

I should have caught that. I go through life saying "Boon with no E"

The Dougherty's info is correct. We are now arriving in Orlando on the 27th and staying at SSR for the first couple of nights. We are getting excited. This may seem like a strange question but will we all meet somewhere on ship?

Could you add to the first page whether people are first time or repeat cruisers? :)

Thanks,

Our kids have never cruised before. I love that the Awalds are farmers. My husband farms, too. We live in Louisiana, though...he's trying to plant wheat right now, but the weather won't cooperate. Can anyone tell me if their kids liked the Oceaneer Lab?
