Haven't received my cruise documents yet. I'm hoping they come this week or next week. I got the Disney reservation number so I can do the check-in stuff online if necessary.

Certainly hope the weather warms up before our vacation. Although, I'm sure it will be a lot warmer than it is here on the east coast of Canada.

We also got the Cruise docs. Anyone doing the Sea Lion excursion in Nassau? I just signed my DH and DS (9) up for it. I hope they don't freeze in the water. We were going to stay on the boat but this sounds like a really awesome experience so hopefully it will go smoothly.

I still haven't decided what to do on Nassau, if anything. Most likely I'll book a room at the Atlantis or Comfort Suites and go to the waterpark.
The price for the Atlantis just came down but I'm hoping for more. I'm also holding off to the last minute to see if the weather looks good enough to swim. Their cancelation policy is 2weeks, so it isn't like we can cancel last minute if it gets cold.

I keep checking the extented weather on multiple sites. They don't go out to Feb yet, but it certainly looks like it is going to be warming up. It hasn't been swimming weather the past weeks. Keeping my fingers crossed that it stays warm.

I used to be a teenager on my last cruise 3 years ago. Now I'm an adult.

Anyway, I have to say that Aloft was a lot of fun. I would go back and hang out with the cast members there if I could. The cast members at Aloft were a lot of fun on my last cruise. They planned lots of fun activities for everyone.

I just booked this cruise today. Anything going on? Meets? FE? This was a last minute decision for us. Looking forward to someplace warmer. I am spending 1/22-1/26 in Nassau and 1/26-1/31 at Walt Disney World so if there are any planned meets please let me know.

I just booked this cruise a couple of days ago...very last minute for me! My SIL, Linda, her daughter (my darling neice), Isobel, and my adorable guide dog (yellow lab) JoJo will be our traveling party. Please say hi if you see us around! I don't plan to do any FEs on this trip as I just don't feel I have time to prepare....may the weather warm up and the seas be smooth!!!!

My friend in Nassau called last week and told me it was cool there. I said what temp she replied 64. I would take that any day it has been freezing here for days. finally up into the 40's today.
She assured me it would warm up before I get there next week. I hope so 6 days in Nassau 5 days at Disney then a 4 night cruise. I am so looking forward to the warmer weather.

I've been meaning to sign up on this site, but I kept putting it off. I guess there's not much time left now!

This will be our second cruise - if you count the 3 day cruise we're doing on the 28th right before this one! I'm very nervous about the cruise, but since it's Disney I'm sure I will love it.

I would love to do the FE. If you will PM or email me your family's names/ages/room number then I will post a list for everybody. Someone else did that for our other cruise and it was very helpful.

Can't wait til we go!

We are taking AmTrak to Florida - for the first time......Going on this Disney Cruise - for the first time... then flying home from Florida - for the first time! More importantly, this is my first time on a forum of any sort. We are looking at the SeaLions encounter at Nassau, is anyone else going to do that? We would love to have someone from the boat we know are going so we don't miss the boat. LOL That is my biggest fear, I CAN"T miss the boat.

You DEFINATLY don't want to miss the boat. Just keep an eye on the time. I am not familier with the Sea lions is it booked as an excursion or are you looking to do it on your own. You will have a whole day not needing to be back until 7. Unless this interfers with your dinner or show plans. We are skipping the show that night in order to stay with my friend in Nassau as long as possible. She drives a taxi there and will know more than me. I will check with her when I get to Nassau next week. A pre cruise vacation.


Addition: I googled it and it is at Blue Lagoon. If you schedule early in the day you should have plenty of time and maybe a little shopping downtown or early back to the ship to enjoy a movie or a swim. Looks like a lot of fun.

Thanks for the info. This excursion was listed on the disneycruise website when we were looking at different things to do. Still up in the air about it anyway. So many decisions to make!! This is fun!
