I think since it's a closed loop cruise, you're fine...I'm not certain though.

I was not born in America, so I don't have a birth certificate to prove my citizenship so I had to get a passport and keep it current Culturally though, everyone I knew growing up had a passport from birth. It was just the norm for us.

ETA: I found a link, and according to this I would have been able to use my Naturalization certificate.

Hi! No, we cruised with all the kids (5 of them) last March, 5 days on the Wonder! And we have a 4 day cruise booked for us all March 2015. This was supposed to be an anniversary get away for myself and DH but DS was not being left behind! Lol

Hi,

I am new to the board, and I will be going on my first Disney cruise. I live in Orlando, and will be going with my best friend, her two daughters (one who is turning 5 on the day that we sail), her mother and my daughter. (3 years, almost 4)

There's a lot of great information on the board, but soooo much. I am working on my questions, and then I'll post them all.

Hopefully someone else is also sailing on this cruise. I am so excited!

- If you sign up, you MUST give something to each cabin that is signed up.
- There is no minimum or maximum number of gifts or days you should deliver.
- There are no assigned days/times to deliver.
- List Closes 1/17/14.
- Final list will be updated by 1/18/14.
- Tip: Start with all aft (or forward) cabins, then make your way to mid ship then forward. Easier to go up and down versus across each deck.
- Tip: Deliver any items you intend people to use onboard early in the cruise.

FE Description borrowed from another group:
Named for the decor from which they hang, fish extenders are usually handmade pocket organizers (similar to a shoe caddy or mail organizer) customized with names, favorite Disney characters, etc. These pocket organizers are hung from a decorative fish ornament that is attached to the wall outside of each cabin on the Disney cruise ship.

A fish extender group is basically a gift exchange, albeit with a little extra pixie dust. Prior to the cruise, fish extender groups are formed and organized via an online Disney fan site. Once numbers are finalized, each member of the group prepares a gift for the other participating cabins. There are no rules regarding gifts (no minimum or maximum dollar value). Often times, the gifts are handmade, but not always. Once the cruise has commenced, participants deliver their gifts to the other participating staterooms, leaving them as a surprise in the fish extender pockets. One of the most fun aspects of taking part in a fish extender group is checking in throughout the day to see what little goodies are waiting.

I Can't believe that I will be on a DCL in a couple of days. This will be my 4th cruise but my 1st Disney Cruise. Will be driving up from South Florida.

I will going on the cruise with my DD who will be turning 5 on the day we sail, my other DD who will turn 18 months on the 1st of Feb, my mother, my BFF and her daughter that will turn 4 the week after we return from the cruise.

Still thinking about doing the FE. I want to try and make my FE. Any tips or suggestions?

Made ours real simple, but you can make it as big as you need it, or as small as you want it:
I took two cardboard boxes, cut out two large squares out of the middle, and four smaller squares, took some black fabric and hot glued it on the cardboard to make the backer, added some red ribbon to tie around the fish to the top, for the bottom and sides, took some smaller cuttings of cardboard and covered them with black fabric (you guessed it) hot glued the pieces to the back of the smaller squares and used the glue to stick them on the backing... then wrapped the smaller squares in red and white fabric, hot glued it around the square... then added felt circles to make a mickey, cut out everybody's name, and hot glued it all together...
I do not know how to sew or own a sewing machine... LOL Kicking myself for not learning how when I was younger!

I've never done the FE thing before, but is there a point/number of people where we might decide to split the list in half? Last count, I have 33 people (12 rooms), and I'm starting to get worried about being able to fit everything in my luggage! (we are flying down) Any thoughts?
