January 3 & 4 MK

We are thinking about moving our vacation up two weeks.

Will there be a Christmas Party going on January 3 & 4 at MK? Will I need an extra ticket to get into the park? I hear about this hard ticket events going on during Christmas time but not sure what that means and if they fall on those possible dates. I assume you have to have an extra ticket to get into MK.
