Did you start at no posts on this thread? You should branch out. I started out reading trip reports, there are some talented writers out there. One of them finished but we talked to much other then the trip so they sent her to the community board and I followed and now look at my post count.

They make you start a new thread at 250 pages so it doesn't bog down the site.

Yes I did, never heard of Disboards until my hubby found it after we booked our cruise. I've searched & read others to do with cruises but haven't posted too much other than on our meet page. Thanks, I will have to go look now...

Be careful the dis is very addicting. There are lots of forums. The budget board has some interesting stuff sometimes. Us Canadians have a forum too.

If you wonder why people have things written in colour under their screen name those are tags. The tag fairy can only give them to you. I got mine from two threads I go to everyday. The second one is from a thread I started on Days of Our Lives.

Woo hoo! Thanks! Wonder if we will get to 2000 in 2 weeks? I'm ready to bounce off the walls & none of my friends want to hear about us going on a cruise. So I will have to keep posting on here!

2000 - HA - that wont be a problem - we will probably hit that in about 3-4 days - I am wondering how close to 3000 we will get???

If you go to the bottom of the page you will see forum jump...they list all the other forums on this board. Use the down arrow.

Do you use the user CP at the top to see our thread? It is on the red line at the top. First one. If you post on any other thread if anyone post on that thread it will show up there. I used to have to find my thread on the pages , I kept one of my threads on the front page for others and that is my other tag. Now I just us the User CP. If you want to subscribe to any thread to keep reading it just go to Thread tools and it will say subscribe to this thread. Every time someone post it will be there.

I am sure that was too much information.

People like the wish forum if your trying to lose weight or have an illness , lots of support.

Good evening all! I have been mia for a few days and note you guys and gals just keep on chatting! That is great stuff!

Just when I thought it couldn't get any colder here, it does. It is around -31 with windchills that makes it feel like -44. I just got home from working a food booth at an ice carving festival in town (google high on ice fort st. john to see pics) and although we were in an enclosed tent with heat, it was cold. We had sold 10 cups of hot chocolate to three groups of people all evening, not well attended due to it being so cold, but my dragon boat club are a hearty, or dumb bunch....so I am happy to be inside and getting toasty warm!!

We have less than 9 days to go before we leave, and I cannot wait! I am so looking forward to warmer weather...

Dear LORD!

You totally win poor thing!! Those temps should earn you an early boarding pass!!! We're nowhere near that and I've been complaining. Only about minus 15 yesterday. Fla in 13 more sleeps!!!!!

Welcome Aboard!
I was worried that the cruise would fall over Super Bowl weekend... because I wouldn't want to make my wife a football widow on one of the first nights of the cruise.

My DH was also worried about the same thing. He is a Dolphin's fan, but that hasn't stopped his interest in watching all of the other games. He most definitely would've needed to watch the game no matter where we were. I myself, do not really follow football, but best of luck to your Steelers!

mmmm....fudge bar.....!!!!

We had electrical and heat pumped in to our tent, so it wasn't too bad but the mad dash to get everything out and in to my car was torcher. Took a while to defrost just from that. No windchills today so that is good!

I bet that alone makes it feel like spring......

Think Mickey bar ....I will be having them in a couple weeks. Don't forget you too can have one at lunch or dinner not just the kids. My hubby has one with the kids at dinner with the other desserts.

We are really getting a lot of snow today. Woke up to it and it is still going strong. It is pretty looking at it. And since we are not going anywhere today it is fine. Hubby will go out and snow blow later after the plows come by.

Kids have projects to finish before we leave....but the snow is really calling them to go outside. We really haven't got much up to now.
