January 29, 2011 - 7 Day Eastern - WOOHOO!!

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving (for the few Americans on our board). We are going to Colonial Williamsburg - about a 2 hour drive (or 5 hours if we get stuck in DC traffic). We have reservations to have dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Claus at Busch Gardens' Christmas Town on Friday![/QUOTE]

Have a fantastic time!!!

Thanks for the updated AverysMommy! We did our check-in so DW will be spending a large part of the day refreshing her screen to find out if our room # has been assigned. Hope we're as lucky as you guys!

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: Ok TiffanyD, so where do you see your room assign? I checkin online last week?!

Well what I do is I log into my castaway club account then show eligible cruises then click on the upcoming one and it should show there. On the first screen where it shows it, it will stay #GTY but once you click in it should show the room # once assigned, I think.

Thank you! I am on hold right now with Disney to see if it has been assigned and then to find out where I look....:confused3 :rotfl2: Sorry first Disney Cruise.

Yuck! We have nasty weather here today, it is pouring rain and is 34 degrees fahrenheit (about 1 C). Taking DD to daycare was awful because the roads were holding water.

Also not so great this morning....we bought a new dishwasher in April and it has broken 2 times now. DH helped me load the dishwasher in our truck last night (we didn't know it was supposed to rain this morning) so I could take it back this afternoon after work. I went out this morning and it was pouring so I decided to take it out of the truck and leave it in the garage. When I pulled it out of the truck, the door opened and it had quite a bit of water in it, which poured right down the front of me. Oh, and I had flip flops and my PJs on because I was too lazy to put normal shoes and clothes on before I went out. Lots of water when it is 34 degrees is CHILLY!!!! :scared1:

Oh what a crappy to start to your day...well at least you had your pjs and flops and not dress clothes and heels...so nothing got ruined.....:flower3: Hope the rest of your day is great!!!!

Ok so I just got off the phone with CM and she checked I still dont have a room #, she said there is no rhyme or reason to the way they do gty rooms. She also said because this week they are off Thurs and Fri, I will most likely not see anything til next week....:sad1:

WOO HOO - I got my cabin assignment tonight.

Funny - someone on the board said that once they completed their online registration, their cabin was assigned......so I tried it and YEAH - I got my room number.

We have room 5522 - which I believe is a secret port hole room. We are thrilled to get that view outside!!

close proximity to the Theatre and the Kids Clubs!

Just nice to know my room

Congrats! We are in room 5636, can't be that far from you. :hippie::hippie:

Hi all. I read these boards every day, but haven't posted for awhile so wanted to say hi again.

I just finished changing our flights. We were going to come in the morning of the cruise but now are coming in the night before and staying at the Hyatt. I figure that will make Saturday morning much more enjoyable. We are military and got a decent rate at the Hyatt. Now I just need to figure out how to get our luggage to the port! I booked a limo and since it will hold 8 I invited my in-laws to join us. They were originallly planning on driving and parking at the port. However, now I am not sure if all of our luggage will fit :scared1: I have heard that DCL will take up to 6 bags for a 25 dollar fee, so I am trying to figure out how to do this. One more planning thing!

I am so excited. My FE should be coming soon (I got the shipment notice yesterday). I am mostly done with one of my FE gifts and I think it is adorable.

I have sort of figured out our port plans.

I am so glad to see how active our boards are!! Have we figured out when/if we are going to meet on the cruise?

Hi there! :3dglasses There is a lot to get figured out! We haven't out our port plans at all yet. We are coming in the night before also & staying at CIS near the ship. We got a good deal on Budget rental through Costco the day we get there & will just take the Disney trans back to Orlando airport.

I would love to meet everyone chatting with on the boards! :goodvibes
We thought about going to Colonial Williamsburg for a vacation. Would love to go there (a little farther for us in MI.). I drove once in DC when we were there for hubby business trip/family vacation last July. I NEVER want to drive in DC again!

Us girls gotta stick together......GIRL POWER!!!!:hippie::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Yeah, sorry about that...I meant to quote DW's post. My fingers were working faster than my brain and i posted before I noticed that I didn't quote TiffanyD's post. Ooops!

We seldom drive in the city. Usually we metro in. Just traffic on 95 is pretty awful on most weekends - every weekend in the summer and all holiday weekends in the fall/winter/spring!!

But you really should plan a trip to Williamsburg next time. It is a neat family vacation because you can combine all of the history/learning of Williamsburg and Jamestown and Yorktown, add in the kid-friendly fun at Biusch including their water park at Water country USA and then drive another 30 miles (45 min -2 hours depending upon traffic) and go to Virginia Beach. It is a pretty good vacation.

LMAO...that's ok.....I am use to bantering with males, as you can see on my siggy...lol
