Crap....I never ever paid attention...I did not know all that..... I do mine whenever...laundry, dishwasher, dryer, hot bath...showers galore...no wonder my gas, hydro and water bills are so much higher than everone else's.. I think I will start paying more attention...

Mine just started a month or so ago - so check to see if yours has started - they were rolling it out over time

Thanks for the update on the FE. It's so exciting. We have gathered alot of stuff together and are working on making our FE itself !

Binky, you got your room assignment? Still waiting for ours. Congrats!

It's been freezing here in Ottawa too. Santa Claus parade was so COLD-it was the first nighttime parade I remember (-9)and so my DD and I cheated-we ran up the route and saw Santa that way! We were about frozen when we got home! Only a small snowfall so far but alot of freezing rain yesterday.

Happy Anniversary Matt and wife and a great big Happy Thanksgiving to all our American friends! Enjoy your long weekend

Long time since I've been on here but just wanted to let you know that no, we weren't in GTY rooms - I just hadn't provided that info the first time around.

I've just spent the last day catching up on all the posts - you sound like a terrific bunch and lots of fellow Canadians as well!! Our travel party includes DH & myself, DD10, DD5, my BIL and his wife, DD10, DD8 and a friend and his DD12 - we have 3 cabins in a row (two of which are connecting).

This will be our third Disney cruise and we love them. Our family will be going down a few days early to visit Harry Potter World at Universal Studios & then meeting up with the rest of the group Sat morning & head out to PC together. Anybody get any good deals on rental cars??

Which day are you at HP - we will be there the Wednesday before hte cruise? Have you done much planning for the day? Are you staying at Universal the night before? We are trying to determine if its worth it to stay onsite -it seems expensive but there are definite perks!

We are flying on Wed out of Buffalo and going to Universal to see Harry Potter too on the Thursday and or Friday. My son is a big Harry Potter fan. He is 13 . My dd is 10 as well. Not sure where we are staying mind you. Hubby does all that stuff I just go.

The kids know the boat well since this is our 5th cruise.

Yes, we are staying on-site at the Loews Royal Pacific. We will be visiting HP on Thursday (have reservations for breakfast at the Three Broomsticks - it was part of some promotion when we booked) and even Friday maybe. We'll be meeting the rest of our party at MCO Saturday morning.

Because we are there such a short time we want to maximize our hours & use the Express lines, that's why we're staying on-site (we usually do the same if we go to WDW).

Addicting for sure....that is why I have so many posts , I have been on as long as some of you but my post are way up there.

Got hubby to put the Christmas lights up outside today and my small tree and Nativity scene is up in the living room. So much more to do.

I stayed at the Royal Pacific a few years ago and it was great! The benefits of staying onsite at Universal are great - skipping in lines really made it possible to go on all of the rides in a short time.

I think we have decided to wait to put decorations up inside our house until after my DD's 2nd birthday party. Not only will we have lots of extra people in our house, but I also want to be able to separate her birthday from Christmas. I will probably go ahead and put the outside stuff up this weekend.

Funny - someone on the board said that once they completed their online registration, their cabin was assigned......so I tried it and YEAH - I got my room number.

We have room 5522 - which I believe is a secret port hole room. We are thrilled to get that view outside!!

Hi all. I read these boards every day, but haven't posted for awhile so wanted to say hi again.

I just finished changing our flights. We were going to come in the morning of the cruise but now are coming in the night before and staying at the Hyatt. I figure that will make Saturday morning much more enjoyable. We are military and got a decent rate at the Hyatt. Now I just need to figure out how to get our luggage to the port! I booked a limo and since it will hold 8 I invited my in-laws to join us. They were originallly planning on driving and parking at the port. However, now I am not sure if all of our luggage will fit I have heard that DCL will take up to 6 bags for a 25 dollar fee, so I am trying to figure out how to do this. One more planning thing!

I am so excited. My FE should be coming soon (I got the shipment notice yesterday). I am mostly done with one of my FE gifts and I think it is adorable.

I have sort of figured out our port plans.

I am so glad to see how active our boards are!! Have we figured out when/if we are going to meet on the cruise?

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving (for the few Americans on our board). We are going to Colonial Williamsburg - about a 2 hour drive (or 5 hours if we get stuck in DC traffic). We have reservations to have dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Claus at Busch Gardens' Christmas Town on Friday!

Congrats!!!! I did my online checkin last week and I dont have my room assignment...well at least I dont think I do????? Where do you find it? I went on right now and it still says GTY #....is that where it will say room # at some point? thanks!
