January 29, 2011 - 7 Day Eastern - WOOHOO!!

One of my big FE gifts isn't working:scared1::mad:

I bought everything thinking it was easy enough to do and finally had time last night to tackle it. And it isn't coming together at all..... Now I am panicking. DH had some suggestions and I am going to try and get it to work round 2, but I am so frustrated. Of course, I unpackaged everything and don't even know if I have the receipts so now I am stuck with 24 of my mystery gift that isn't going to work....and I don't know if I can figure it out!!!

I am off to the DISBOARDS to get help.... No peaking at my thread....

Just checking in :surfweb:Weight loss has been tuff:scared1: I lost the 5lbs I gained when i started the diet so that put me back to 0lbs loss:confused3 but as of today I have loss 2lbs lol but Im not giving up only 18 to go:banana:

As an FYI - we will be at the terminal early...waiting to get the ship. SO, if anyone does want to meet at 11:30 just to chat and spend time together before we get on the ship, we'll be there already. :goodvibes

so after I spent the last few days booking hotels in Orlando before our visit to Universal Studios, and booking rental cars to visit my folks, and arranging for a car service to get us back to the Airport after the cruise.......we MIGHT now change everythign around.

Yesterday, Spencer (DS11) came home all sad as he found out the big Volleyball Meet for his school team is on January 26th (the day after we are scheduled to fly out).

The plan was to fly Tuesday, do Universal on Wednesday, visit parents on Thursday and Friday and then do the cruise and fly home on Saturday the 5th.

Now we might fly down THursday, do Universal on Friday, do the cruise, visit parents Sat, Sun and Mon, and then fly home on Tuesday.

The good news is that Southwest doesnt charge any fees to change flights. So my work has confirmed that I can change my dates and we are just waiting on my Better Half's employer (Bell Canada). Hopefully we can give Spencer the good news tonight.

I hate last minute changes but he really wants to do the Vollyeball Tournament - even though the team will do horribly!

I agree - everyone who gets to the Terminal early should try and find each other.....my family will have Blue Mickey Mouse shirts on .....but I am sure we wont be the only ones!

Thats a good spirit - I was the same way - I lost 9, gained 2, and have now lost 1 = so a new loss of only 8 pounds. Still focused on hitting 15 before we go!!!!

there is a post on how to make one I have seen it before. I will try and locate it for you then let you know later today. My mother made mine last year but we didnt use any kind of pattern we just kinda figured out how to do it by looking at other peoples fe that they posted pics of. Basically just pouches that we hung on dowels it worked out fine . there was 4 of us cruising so we did 4 pouches , some people on the cruise just used organizers or stockings as it was close to christmas when we went.:cool1:
Thank you boundfordisney. Found it:)

We picked this date becasue the kids have the Friday off the week we are gone. Hate kids to miss school. But now we are leaving and flying out on Jan 26th and doing Universial on the Thursday -Friday. So much for not missing school. :lmao: Plus my son is a huge Harry Potter fan!

My kids are too!!! :worship:

I wish West Jet had the same rules...my son could meet us and we could all go to Harry Potter. He's second year university and cannot leave classes for a week to cruise with us. We looked at flying him down on the Saturday or Sunday post cruise, but too expensive. He could fly Monday quite cheaply, but we'd have to change our flights and fly home later in order to make that feasible. We'd also have to pay a penalty for each fare to change them. That's not happening, so he misses out, sadly. We haven't officially decided if we are doing Harry Potter anyway. Maybe I'll have a chat with those of you who went before the cruise, and see what lines were like. ;)

We have 3 open days before we fly home and we're staying on Disney Property. We aren't doing dis parks this time, but haven't ruled out Universal completely. :wizard: We have a day on our 7day pass left for a waterpark if the weather cooperates. We'll see. :cool2:

(Cue Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush) Don't give up :rolleyes1

2 lbs is a BIG deal. NEWGENWEB: go now to your fridge, open it, take out a lb of butter and if you have another one, take that out too. This is what you have lost. This is a HUGE deal.

Now, go and be proud of yourself!!!!! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

I am looking at this point that anything will be tropical  Just came in from shovelling (again). I am going to be optimistic that the weather will be 85 degrees and sunny for the whole week that we are on the :boat: Here's hoping!! :woohoo::woohoo:

I agree on being optimistic. DREAM BIG! ;)

We've only been disappointed once in Florida with the weather and that was last year-and everyone was disappointed. Otherwise, anything higher than 0 and no snow is good with us-and it's usually about 20 degrees higher than 0 !:rotfl:

I also wanted to add that even though it was a cold winter last year in FLA, my DD and I swam in the Atlantic in Miami. It was chilly and many would not, but it was the ocean and we were on South Beach baby!!! It was a beautiful sunny day. I'm sure CC will be fine. Some may find it chilly and some may find it fine. I for one, will likely be swimming. :woohoo:

There is a saying that you may or may not have heard about Florida: if you don't like the weather, wait five minutes. :lmao:

Just back from my X'mas trip to Vegas, Disneyland and San Diego. Now, I logged into cruise site, no Palo window available at all.

First time cruiser, any suggestions for us what to book? We are a couple with a 5 yr old boy.

This is our virgin Dis cruise as well so I can't suggest anything but you'll likely see us in line for Palo ressies cause we couldn't get one.

Don't know if we'll be as recognizable as the others who have matching tshirts, though. How cute is that??? :)

You are around the corner from our cabin, BTW. You'll probably hear my 14 yr old DD going "awww" when she sees your DS. ;)

We are aiming to arrive at the terminal around noon. I will look for you!! I won't be hard to find, look for the two children who are on the brink of freaking out at a moments notice and a mom who is about to make a run for the bar :upsidedow

I like the big D on your back better.....:rotfl2: Yes we will be there early too. Usually close to when the terminal opens. This will be our 5th cruise and we still get excited just looking around the terminal.
