January 28, 2007, 4 nights on the WONDER

Will be leaving for FL. tonight. For eight days at disneyworld and then 4 days on the wonder. Everyone stay safe and see you all in nine days.

If anyone wants Brunch at Palo, we just cancelled our 11:00 reservation for the 31st so you can go snag it on disneycruise.com. It is for 2 people.

I am still not clear on what night you dress up for, besides Palo's. Is it for Triton's? Is that on the rotation that everyone does? How dressy for Triton's?

I am confused and the person I asked from DCL wasn't much help, they couldn't clearly tell me my rotation schedule.

I guess they have one night that they call Dress-Up night. On the sailing on January 7th it was on Monday, so I'm guessing that's what it will be again. You can see the recent Navigators (schedule of events) on castawayclub.com.

The wristbands came today!!! They aren't quite as bright of a lime as they looked online, but they will work great. I can mail some on Monday if people want them mailed out (and have paid for it).

Shauna, I will get my money out first thing monday. I don't think you will be able to mail it to me in time to get it to Serena before she leaves for Fla. Unless I send you extra and you overnight it. I think I'll just have her look for you or you look for her. Either way, I trust you to get to her. I do thank you for getting these done.

Four more days and we leave for FL! I'm so jealous of ClassicDisney to be down there right now! It started to snow up here in PA this afternoon and there's a nice coating on the ground. It's supposed to pick up again this evening! Yuck... I don't like cold weather.

We finished up all the packing I could possibly do (except all the last minute stuff like toothbrushes, etc). I found this cool packing list online thru another Disney site: http://www.geocities.com/Calgon1/Ultimate_Packing_List.html - some of it was over the top, but I did get a lot of good ideas from it.

Glad to be reminded about Dress Up night. I need to pack one more dressy outfit. I like stampinshauna's idea of a tropical skirt... I think I have one that will work!

It used to be when you at Triton's but on our last cruise (same week last year), it was at whichever restaurant you ate at on Monday. It will let you know on your Navigator which day it will be. I like it on Monday much better because we ate at Triton's on Sunday and it would have been a rush to get ready if we had the early dinner.

Only 5 more days of work (counting today) until we have a WONDERful trip!!! Does anyone have advice for sleeping on a plane? We're taking the red-eye Friday night and plan to spend the day Saturday at the Magic Kingdom.

woo hoo, 6 days until the cruise

I personally hate flying but i do it to get to where i want to go, if i did not fly, i would never get anywhere
as for sleeping on a plane, i never have any luck, although, if you drink alcohol, a drink or two may make you sleepy (er) than you already are, and may help. make sure you take something to rest your head on - a blanket, cozy jacket or whatever. I am not sure if the airlines still provide pillows/blankets for domestic flights, and even if they do, with all the cutbacks, i doubt they wash them between flights those night maks things would probably help you too.

time to begin packing, busy week ahead, and i like to get things done early so we shall see. cant wait to meet ya all

Hey all! We leave in two more days!!! We head out of Baltimore at 7am on Thursday morning! Cant wait! Although DS caught stomach flu Friday and has passed it to both DD and DH last night. I've prayed hard that I don't get it also...don't want to get sick on the plane. I'm downing my Airborne, eating lots of grapefruit, and drinking a ton of water. I'm hoping I"m immune since I was so close to DS when he originally caught it.

Can't wait for warm weather...love to hear that the forcast is warm.

We are having a cold front right now, the temperature suddenly dropped from 70 to the low 60's. Tonight it's probably in the 40's. But do not fear, I'm sure it is short term!
