January 28, 2007, 4 nights on the WONDER

Thanks again for all your work in pulling this together, Shauna! Bravo! (Thunderous applause in the background).

Shauna,

Do you think $1 would cover the postage for 2 wristbands? Let me know what you think, and I could Paypal you $5.25 (2 bands + shipping + your costs) when you give me the OK. I'll PM you with my account info.

If shipping ends up being more I could just give you cash on the ship.

Thanks from me and DH for putting this together. Now....when and where exactly are we all meeting up? Someone said 3:00 by the pool, but which one? Mickey?

I think that would cover it, it is just taking a chance that they will ship fast enough.

Since I haven't heard from anyone else, I'm going to go ahead and order the wristbands now. I'll get a few extra adult and child bands just in case anyone needs/wants them.

The wristband order has been placed!!! I did order 4 extra adult and 4 extra child wristbands in case someone wants them. They should arrive to me by January 22nd. I'll let you know when they come.

In case anyone is interested, Travelzoo.com just announced that Atlantis has a special rate of $159 for rooms while we are at Nassau. That will give you full access to the aquarium, the dig, the waterslides, and the beach.

hey shauna -

i can go ahead and send you paypal money for the wristbands, just get your paypal info to me so i know where to send it. :thumbsup2 I will do it now, so you have it and so it is one less thing for me to think about.

Shauna-Sorry I did not reply sooner! If there are any left, I would like one adult and one child. If there aren't anymore than we will just meet up and say Hi when everyone meets:)

jzimmerman9-I have a DD who is 11 also! I have a 15 month old DS, too. We are not doing Flounders this time. We cruised with DCL when he was 14 weeks and it did not work out well.

luvcruisn,

When your then-14 week old son was in Flounders, what problems did you experience? I'm just curious because most of the opinions I've read on Flounders were positive. Thanks and hopefully we'll get to see you on the cruise. We leave in two weeks for the land/sea package! Yippie!!

Hey Shauna, thanks for taking care of this. We're leaving for the World next Saturday, the 20th. I'm assuming you'll pm us with the paypal info? Or post it here?

Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Blessings - Lin

Frankiesmom and luvcruisn--I placed the order yesterday but I did get 4 extra adult & child wristbands, so I've got enough for you. Now I think I have one extra adult and one extra child.

Paypal funds should go to kccundick@yahoo.com

I was BF my DS when we cruised. I had fed him right before taking him to Flounders. I brought an expressed bottle with him, but told them he would not be hungry for 2.5 hours and was ready for a nap. No sooner did we sit down at our table and get our drinks when they paged me (two nights in a row) to pick him up because he was crying and would not take his bottle. He had been at Flounders less than 15 minutes both times. When we arrived, he was not really upset but just wanted to sleep. I know it was probably because DS was so young and they usually don't have them at that age. One good thing, is they only charged us for a total of 2 hours instead of 4 hour minimum they should have. It was not a horrible experience, it just didn't work for us. I have heard some really wonderful things, but be prepared for them to page you.

My 11 DD has already worried that she would not meet anyone, so she would love this! Right now, she is busy with family, my FIL died a couple days ago and we have family in from out of state. Everything will settle down by Sunday then she would love to email or IM some of the girls that will be there. I'll talk to her tonight and give her a few days to think up conversation topics. Then should I PM whoever has DD that want in? Not sure of a easy way to do this...any ideas? Maybe we could get them their own thread?
Let me know to proceed.....
Jenny

I will talk with my DD tonight. That age is so funny and I sure she will want to "prepare". She has yahoo and MSN IM. We could try and arrange a time that they can talk. We live on the east coast so we are on EST. What is your time zone? She always has a good time with friends she makes on board, and I know she would love to know someone ahead of time.

jzimmerman - my condolences go to you and your family regarding your FIL -

jzimmerman/luvcruisn -
