I agree about November 1... we also are mainly focusing on the kids, although the grownups might get one surprise

So far here everyone has children so shall we say just for children and make it easier? As melsherard said the adults might get a surprise if Candis did want to join. Still no word about texasgal74 but we can go on the assumption she's still in?

Hi everyone- Nov. 1st sounds good as a cut off for the fish extender. I also think that we should focus on the children. I had only bought items for the kids, but may try to add in a little something for the adults too. With all of the recent sales we each bought new luggage for the trip. I have to hold myself back from packing every time I look at it.

Nov 1st sounds great. I've found several items at the Disney outlet down here for the kids. I'll make sure to have something special for the adults too, since we're all kids at heart.

I was at the Disney Store yesterday, and they were having a terrific sale... 40% off the lowest clearance price, and they had a great selection of stuff... Camp Rock, Hannah Montana, etc... I got several great items for Christmas. The girls are really going to have a Disney Christmas this year! Thought I'd let you all know!

Bummer I went to the store yesterday and the sale had ended.. however they had forgotten a sign tucked under some Hannah pj's and since they left it up they had to give it to me!! so I got the girls pj's to wear on the cruise to open on Christmas! Wish they had more at our store but that was it...

Hey Ramon did you see the updated date to do ADR's?

" expected to be functioning on November 21. While this is taking place, the latest dining reservation date which can be booked in advance is January 25, 2009. Once the new system is operating, it will revert to the 180 day Advance Dining Reservation window.

I was able to book ADR back in July at 180 days. I had set my computer to buzz at me to remind me. I was able to do it right before they set the first cut off by a day.

if the new date is 1/25/09, you should be able to set up your ADRs since you will be on the ship that date for any time after that up to 10 days.

Once you set up your ADRs, get them to email you a copy of ressies to you so you have a confirmation on hand. I keep all my papers in a binder that goes with me, just in case..

Also, do you subscribe to BFADS.net??? They start listing the black friday ads there in advance.

bummer I should have tried back then.. so I can make the reservation for say the 29th then because we are on the cruise starting the 24th? Now back to figuring out where we would like to eat! The inlaws are thinking we won't have enough time to go to a park on Thursday when we get off the ship.. what do you think? Do we use a day of a ticket or just go to downtown Disney?

you should be able to make ADRs for the 29th. Tell them you on Wonder on the 25th and then at the park afterwards. That should work..

If you're taking a DCL bus back to the world, you should get back there around 12:30, I'm guessing. That should leave you plenty of time to play in the smaller parks. you also can find out if the park is open late. But you could do either way. If it's late in the day when we get there, we usually go off to DTD and play. They also have the new T-Rex Cafe with the dinosaurs like Rainforest Cafe.

We preplan everything. We buy prepaid cards for Landry's Restaurants (both are part of this organization) so we don't have to worry about spending our valuable disney money on something else.

I am looking forward to Black Friday also. I can't believe some of the deals that are already out there. It looks as if it will be a great season for deals. That is great because we want a new camera for the trip!
