January 2020 BLT it CL Contemporary

I know rates come out tomorrow- question on what experts would do. My 22 year old son moving to Houston so we planned on meeting up 1/30-2/2 at Disney. Last year we did CL Poly and purchased extra FPs in August.

Plan 3 park days hopper tickets. Hoping fewer crowds than August- avoiding MLK and President’s Day.

We like location of Contemporary so that is where we want to be. We also prefer TPV

So looking at renting DVC points and doing TPV at BLT- I have found availability with reputable online site for Deluxe studio. Was going to do the Ultimate day of thrills tour if available since no extra FPs available to purchase like CL - just regular 3 (plus refresh and getting additional).

Other option seeing what CL at contemporary is tomorrow and doing that- and hoping they keep CL FPs to purchase. Would not do Ultimate tour.

From those who go in January/Early February which would you do? We’ve done August the past 2 years but that not an option this year.

As an adult, I wouldn't want to sleep on a pull-out bed, so, I would, personally opt for a room at CR.

Two adults might be okay in a BLT studio. But if you have more, book CR or book a one bedroom at BLT instead.
