Ah gotcha! It’s on rolling 190 day schedule. Right now it’s at mid December

Hi! I'm brand new on disboards and this is my first time planning a Disney vacation (though not my first time to Disney World). From what I can see at https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/calendars/five-day/2018-12-14/ , park hours have only been announced up until Dec 18th (which is 180 days from today). Am I missing something? Where can I find park hours 190 days out? I'm trying to plan the order in which I'll attend the parks from Jan 1st-6th 2019 so that I can avoid EMH parks when booking ADRs.

Also note, they can change as you get closer to your date. Sometimes Disney will extend hours. But I don't know how much that has been going on recently.

I hate how the parks close at 8. I looked at last years hours in January and it was the same. It wouldn't be quite as big of a deal, but the pools close at 8 too from what I remember reading. I know it can be to cool to swim sometimes, but last time we went in February (2016) the pools were open until 11, and we got to enjoy them every night after the parks. We are early risers, but the thought of being back at the resort by 9 with nothing to do kinda stinks.

Will just take advantage of PM EMH. Maybe take a night to go to DS, then a night at the arcade. Guess that'll be 4 nights (of our 7) right there. We will most likely drive this time too, so I guess we'll have a car if we want to go do something.

Yeah I was so surprised by the early hours! Im so used of longer park hours. We plan on spending some time at Disney Springs and taking advantage of the PM EMH as well

I'm guessing that January hours will be extended, at least for HS, based on my assumption that Toy Story Land will still be drawing a big crowd. There's also the marathon and MLK, so maybe those crowds will dictate longer hours as well.

When I go on MDE, my "Add Parks and Places" option is grayed out and not selectable. I assume it will become available as they release hours for each day...

I don't think I've seen an official January 2019 thread yet! Should we start one? We just booked 1/10/19-1/15/19 (edited from 1/3/19-1/8/19) this weekend! It's our first time renting DVC points and our first time staying at a deluxe! We booked at Copper Creek because my DH fell in love with WL on a previous trip, so we decided to bite the bullet and go for it. We got two studios, one for us and one for our sons. I CANT WAIT! Are there any January friends out there?

Yes and our March especially was terrible, which is just mean. I'm sure the cold and snow doesn't compare to Maine, but we definitely get our share of single digit days.
