I don't think I've seen an official January 2019 thread yet! Should we start one? We just booked 1/10/19-1/15/19 (edited from 1/3/19-1/8/19) this weekend! It's our first time renting DVC points and our first time staying at a deluxe! We booked at Copper Creek because my DH fell in love with WL on a previous trip, so we decided to bite the bullet and go for it. We got two studios, one for us and one for our sons. I CANT WAIT! Are there any January friends out there?

Sounds great! Poly is on my bucket list. I actually just worked with the rental company to shift my dates back one week, so now we will be there the 10th - 15th. I'm going to edit my first post to add a roll call and I'll change the name of the thread now that we've got two!

It’s on my bucket list too!! Super excited. We were going to go the week before but wanted to avoid the marathon crowds. I’m hoping when we are gone the Northeast has a huge storm

We pushed back a week to avoid the post-New Year's crowds. I didn't realize that some schools are off the whole week of New Year's. I've read that the Marathon doesn't impact the parks too much, and the crowd calendars on Touring Plans were much better for the second weekend than the first.

Nothing booked yet, we're waiting for packages, but we've got the dates picked: 1/5-1/12! We'll be at one of the All Stars to save money for the DELUXE DINING PLAN!!!! We're so excited to eat our way across the World! We're planning two sit down meals a day with a bunch of signature restaurants thrown in. I'm also hoping Festival of the Arts starts the weekend of the 11th too.

@Elenadc, that sounds great! I've always been intrigued by the deluxe plan. You'll have to let us know how it goes! I personally rate the food and the attractions as equally exciting! I'll add you to the roll call with "All Stars" listed for now!

Yes our last day is Feb 12/19 as long as we have good weather when we fly out, it can be Snowmageddon while we are gone! I have someone to plow my yard while we are gone.

And of course, I've got ideas on some delicious cocktails!

I highly recommend Teppan Edo, it's a ton of fun, especially if you don't have any Hibachi places back home.
