The alamo contract ID for Disney AP holders is 860292, I just checked though it looks like its the same discount as insiders. Atleast as of right now.

Thanks for that. Mousesavers says to check the folder the AP came in for the code, but ours didn't come in a folder.



I just found my Alamo entertainment coupons, so now I get to see if any of those help at all. Would love to bring it down even more!

And the answer to that is NOPE. I find it intruiging how you can get the same weekly rate (in this case 113 and change) but entering a coupon brings the total UP from no coupon. But with the same weekly rate. So odd.

I think someone posted this before but having your pick up time on the 30 min instead of the straight up hour gives you a lower rate, I checked that and its about $20 less, which is very odd...

Also its usually the 2-3 week out window that rates begin to drop, check it every day, multiple times a day because the rate will go down. Today only my rate has gone down about $15-20 or so.

Right now I am $235 for a full size from 01/07-01/19

Did anybody know that Hertz, Thrifty and Dollar are all the same company? I just got an email about the Thrifty prices so I went to the site to see what they offer for my week at MCO. I was directed to either Dollar or Hertz, Thrifty was not even an option. Anybody else get this? Thrifty was accepting the same 5C11M code so I though I'd give it a try. Hertz is HUNDREDS of dollars more expensive, FYI....

Now I am trying to book with Alamo because the VAN coupon works and the rate is at $187 which I know will go lower but this is the error code I am getting when I am logged in as an insider and using the code:

Supplied customer number does not match rate customer number.

Today, Dollar went back up for me. I'm paying about $136 for 1/3 to 1/11. Today it's back up to over $220!

Both Thrifty and Dollar for 01-11 to 01-18 (it comes out to 8 days) are the same price at $156.42. That is a few dollar drop from Tuesday. I went with Thrifty as opposed to Dollar as we have used then before and like them.

It seems wrong to offer a coupon code to your insiders, let us find the rate using said code and then deny the use of the code at check out. I'd say that is false advertising.....

I am VERY disappointing as I had such exemplary service when we used them in June 2013. It would be a shame to let all my fellow Disney travelers know of such sad news and force us all to go with Thrifty and Dollar who DO honor coupons for the exact same time I am going and have the rental price for said time frame down to about $155.

Its a good thing other companies honor their codes

. That's a good price. I got Alamo yesterday using their insider coupon for $25 off for my dates of Han 22 to February 1 (10) days for $222 for standard size. Not too bad but still hoping national drops.

Dollar City rates have dropped a lot this morning ! Got a Minivan for 2/1/14 - 2/10/14 for $ 273.16 total for when the kids come done and a Altima for $181.99 when were alone for 1/24/14- 2/1/14. Every day there are coming down as we get closer...
National Emerald Aisle for the same time period is $ 489.00 with no guarantee of a mini van ? $ 34.89 more. Like the national pickup, but dollar looks pretty good.
