It's doing the same for me. I was going to see the price difference between POP (It went down from $109 to $95) and POR. Hopefully they will work out the kink soon!

The price did not go down.
$95 is weekday rate
$109 is weekend rate

180 days!!! Was up at 6am making my ADR's and got everything I wanted!! :cool1:
I got CRT, BOG, Chefs De France and Kona. I did have to take my second choice in dates for BOG, which is fine but I will keep trying to get the perfect date.

Next on the wait list is for a nice pin or room/package discount to come in the fall.

They originally quoted me $112 for weekend, $109 for weekday. This was when I booked about a month ago before the rack rates for 2014 were set. So, it did go down from the original quote. Now they have me at the $95/$109 rate.

I'm not complaining! I am sitting in a regular Hampton Inn and Suites in Williamsburg right this minute and paid a lot more...with no Mickey waffles or a nice bus to my destination! :rotfl:

They quoted you Value Season 2 rates...which are higher then the January Value season rates. Which is great because it worked out less then expected. That is always a bonus :thumbsup2

All our rates went down too! We are were quoted $195 for New Year's Day and it went down to $174! All the other days went down about $2 per day - not a ton but every little bit helps!
The New Year's Day rate change really helped justify going down day earlier! :goodvibes

I just made our reservation for the BWI. The AAA discount was 20%, larger than I expected.:thumbsup2

I'll keep an eye out for a better promotion in the fall.

If I paid in full for my late 2014 room only reservation with a AAA discount and a better discount comes out for the same time ( I understand I cannot combine discounts, but that I can improve my discount amount ) - will Disney credit me the difference on my credit card?

thanks will do

I called this afternoon and was told there were no AAA discounts loaded for 2014:rolleyes2

I informed the agent 'my friend';) hey we're all friends here aren't we? said they were quoted AAA discounts.

She was adamant there were none, not just for AoA:bitelip: and advised me to call back in a month...as if i'd wait that long to call again lol.

Just curious, I am helping my sister book her first trip for her family January 5-10, 2014. What were the discounts for this time period last year? Just trying to figure out what to expect.

I believe they can, but when that's happened to us in the past, we just kept it on the room for charging when we arrived.

Mousesavers.com has a section with past discounts. We went last January and there was a discount for Visa card holders.

I usually book now, and pay the $200 deposit and then call and change to the discount when they come out. That way I am sure to get the resort that I prefer.

Grrr that's far away..
Do you guys think that booking a room for mid January in like, Oct/Nov is okay?

It's Fine .Considering its Mid January you don't have to worry about anything really selling out.
The promo's would be out by then as well.
