JANUARY 2013, Who Else is Going?

WOOHOO for everyone heading out to DL. We have 7 days until we leave to start our road trip down.

I am at 2 days. Starting to feel better. Cold and sinus infection are slowing abating. Breathing is good.

So excited! We leave in 8 days - just my DD5 and myself! Leaving DH and DS1 at home. I think some sun and some Disney is just what the doctor ordered to cure these winter blues. Does anybody else have a DD the same age that will be there the 29-31? I need a brave girl who would coax my fearful girl onto some rides.

The weather has been such a blessing for those traveling recently and into this week--highs in the 70s and no rain.

One week!!! My kids just pointed out we'll be on an airplane this time next week! I love that they get just as excited as me about Disney!

We'll be there 1/28-1/31 in parks and my 6 1/2 and 2 1/2 year old are both daredevils. The little one is 39 1/2 inches so she might get to try some of the 40" rides this year.

Ohh how fun! You must have a very excited DS. Are you going in the parks tomorrow? Any comments on Crowd size would be much appreciated.

I'm surprising my 5 1/2 year old next Tuesday- she has NO clue. I'm just going to wake her up and say C'mon we are going to Disneyland today!! Can't wait to see her reaction. Such a fun age!

Watching the 10 day forecast for my Wed-Mon trip really got my hopes up! Forecast went from 70s and no rain to 60s and rain most of the trip.

I watched the NBC video weather broadcast and it doesn't seem too bad...the meteorologist said it would be light off and on showers and not downpours. We can handle that.

Can't wait to go to Disneyland! I plan on purchasing some cute baby outfits (definitely the 2013 onesie) and posting a picture of them when we return to "announce" my pregnancy on Facebook.

Woohoo.! We are currently at the DL hotel and were able to upgrade to ETicket level! So happy about that! Beautiful large room with a great pool view.
The CM who checked us in was so nice! She even came up to the room & dropped off two signed pictures of the princesses, Tinkerbell &Ariel for our girls. So sweet & totally unexpected. My 3 yr old was beside herself.

Delightful start to our trip.

How's the weather? I'm bummed at the forecast - especially with the beautiful weather there last week. Oh well a rainy day at Disney is still better than a sunny day at work!!
