January 2011!!

It's getting soooooo close!!! Now that Christmas is over, I am going to really start packing and getting things together!!!! WOO HOOOOOO!!!!

We arrive on Sunday! I am ordering the water from Costco today so it will be there for us. I am going to shopping to pick up some last minute things we need!!

Now that Xmas is over, it's time to turn my attention toward fine-tuning touring plans and obsessing about the weather! ;)

Glad to see all those celebrating leaving so soon.

Time to pack up the tree and start packing the suitcase!
:cool1:

Need to check the long term weather forecast! :thumbsup2

We are checking in on the 22nd as well for an anniversary trip. How many years for you two? We will be married 24 years on the 24th :lovestruc

Rabx5, & jodilinton--Congrats on the anniversaries that are going to be celebrated at Disney!! We are going with our friends to help them celebrate 30 years at the end of Jan. So excited! ( we are "veterans, but only their second time!) DOn't forget to get Anniversary buttons!! We did on our 25th anniversary a few years ago & it was fun, as several people started conversations with us while in line or on the bus....Enjoy! Debbie

Long trip for us coming from Argentina, we're leaving late on Sunday and arriving at the Pop after noon on Monday !!

Finally, after 12 years we're able to go back (we were younger and just DBF and DGF back then) , and for the first time with our two DDs, Lucia, 6 years old and Sofia, 3 years old. princess: princess:

And what makes this trip even more magical is that were are going with my parents and sister and we are all celebrating my 34 birthday on Tuesday 4.

6 days left, really can't wait !! :woohoo::woohoo:

Just looked at the month long weather for January and the days the girlfriend and I are going looks like no rain and low 70's everyday with lows being 50's! That's amazing! 13 more days!

Us too.
Ordering from Costco??? How does that work??

I ordered a case of water to be delivered to POP. It was $5.63 and that includes shipping. Here is what I ordered...http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11150807&search=water&Mo=54&cm_re=1_en-_-Top_Left_Nav-_-Top_search&lang=en-US&Nr=P_CatalogName:BC&Sp=S&N=5000043&whse=BC&Dx=mode+matchallpartial&Ntk=Text_Search&Dr=P_CatalogName:BC&Ne=4000000&D=water&Ntt=water&No=3&Ntx=mode+matchallpartial&Nty=1&topnav=&s=1 hope that helps :)

I just followed the advice on the resort boards on how to ship to your resort. If you are staying at a convention resort, be careful I have read they charge $10 for packages. This is our first trip so I don't have first hand results yet but I thought it was worth a try.

That's great!! I am hoping for weather like that while we are there too!

I wasn't expecting a trip back so soon (I just went on November with friends) to Disney, but this time mom and I are doing a Disney Cruise!! It's January 21-23rd, so excited!!

Hi, mind if I join in? I'm new here but I am SO excited about our first family trip to Disney World!!!

Our trip will be January 23rd-29th. We will be driving from Alabama, about a 9 hour drive. It will be me, my husband, our 2 sons, ages 2 & 4, my mom & my mother-in-law. This will be everyone's first trip to Disney, except me. I went with a school group about 12 years ago. I was in middle school at the time.

Just a little side note:
My first trip to Disney ended disasterously when I got food poisoning at Sea World & I was sick the rest of the trip. My teacher left me on a bench in Epcot at France since I was so sick & forgot about me (yes, she left me there!!) I ended up finding my way out of the park & back to the hotel room. When I got back to the hotel, they didn't even know I was missing! It's a little scary to think of now that I am older & a parent! But, enough of the bad memories. I am determined to make GREAT families memories on this trip!

We will be staying at the All-Star Music Resort. We have the Disney Dining Plan & we have 6 day park passes. I have made ADR's at Ohana (character breakfast & dinner), Le Cellier, Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater, Chef Mickey (character dinner) & Planet Hollywood. I so struggled with where to make ADRs but that's what I chose. Hopefully they will all be ok. We are not hard to please.

I had planned on going to Magic Kingdom & Hollywood Studios 2 days each & Epcot & Animal Kingdom 1 day each but now I'm 2nd guessing myself. Maybe we should go to Epcot 2 days instead of Hollywood Studios, lol, I can't decide!

I would love any input from seasoned WDW vacationers with young children. I need to know everything. Thanks!

Getting Super Excited! Right before Christmas DH's company gave him tickets to Disney... YAY!! But I almost put it off, with Christmas, and the cost still of food and staying there I was afraid we couldn't do it. But we made some cuts and found a good code and we are going !! Jan 2 - 4 only (we live about 1.5 hours away so we will leave early) And hopefully its a blast. Argh so much to plan!

We will be getting to The World next Saturday the 8th!!! Not sure who's more excited, the kids or my husband and I!!!
