We - DP, DD (5) and I - will be going Jan. 4-12..DD's first visit to Disney!! Hoping for a good room deal..maybe 4/3 or a discount vs. the gift card..we will book as soon as the package deals come out next month- looking at POFQ or AK if I get a good deal!

I am hoping for a 40% on room only which I would then convert to a package. I am unsure if I will make a reservation now and then get a discount applied later. I am trying to decide between an Epcot resort or a monorail resort. Its a happy decision to have to make! I am so excited about this trip! Jan 2-8. I finally got reservations at CRT after trying since 2007, with two trips per year! Yea!

We are going 1/18 - 1/24. We currently have a reservation at CBR, but thinking of switching to CSR. Anyone have a preference between the two? According to my calculations, free dining would be the best savings for us vs. a room-only discount. But the 4/3 offer would be fantastic too!

We have booked the room and dining reservations at this point.

We're heading down for a long weekend over MLK Day. I'm hoping for a great room only discount since we're only staying for 5 nights so a repeat of the 7 for 4 wouldn't help us. Plus we're getting APs in October so we won't need tix.

I'd love to see a bounceback for January when we're there in October but I'm thinking we may be too early for it -- sounds like maybe they'll still be running the free dining bounceback at that time.

Arriving Jan. 18th for 7 nights. Staying 3 nights POP (Never been to a value before) and 4 at WL, if we get a big enough discount. Is the whole week following MLK filled with people coming in for this holiday, or do they usually stay only the weekend?

We have been over the MLK weekend four times now. I currently do not have a trip planned, but am sniffing around for an offer. That MLK time frame always works well with our kids' school schedule, so am hoping for something in 2011. I don't really need the 4/3 offer because I don't have that much time. Free dining would be awesome, but not expecting that.

Also waiting and hoping for a great deal. 4/3 or room discount would be great for us! We have Jan 3-6 at OKW 2 bedroom for my parents, two kids and DH & I, followed by Jan 6-12 in a one bedroom when my parents leave.

I am hoping for 4/3, applied to the second reservation, which will allow us to stay those seven nights more. If not, then we'll have to leave on the 8th.

We just booked our room only rate at BC for Jan 30th through Feb 6th (can't wait to get the 2011 dining and tix rates now too). Would LOVE to get a 4/3 deal/code!!!!

They gave out $200 gift cards ON TOP of the 4/3 deal??? WHOA!!! Now THAT would be AWESOME!

We are definitely going to WDW in January. I had originally planned to travel over MLK weekend because our DS9 would be out for MLK day. Well, our school district has decided not to observe the holiday so now I can change it up some. We went over the MLK holiday in 2008 for 4 nights and skipped EPCOT. Our DS6 at the time made it through our mad dashing to hit 3 of the parks from opening to closing. This trip will be with our DS5 and DS9 and the youngest will not handle the fast walking as well as our older son. I have decided that we can just go for the week since we would have to miss school for 3 days why not 5. My husbands schedule still works best for the MLK weekend, but I would like to avoid it if possible. We could leave late on the 21st and then return on the 28. I just have a hard time knowing what to book. We are just fine staying in the Value resorts, we are never there. I just don't know what to do without the specials. I really need some discount to stay for that long. If the special only applies to the mods then what good is it to book the Value room now? I want to get my dining reservations in also. I don't think last time I read all about it and just booked the package deal and never looked for specials. What do you guys think?
