this will make me sound like a complete weirdo, but I think I'm beginning to suffer from the post-disney blues, and we haven't even left for our trip yet!!
As much as I can't wait to get there, I HATE the idea that in 3 weeks, it will all be over

definitely been feeling this way, snapping out of it reading PTR to catch the excitement. I am hoping this passes so I can enjoy myself.

10 more days! I get to do the online check in today

I will be able to do On line Check in on Friday I think. Still not sure if I will or not though! This will be our first time at POFQ and we are NOT making any specific room requests. I know that it could be a potential time saver (A BIG maybe there) but that is about all I would want it for! I want to get checked in as quickly as possible and be on our way to the parks ASAP!!!

I just posted an update on the Transportation forum but thought I would share with those of you on this thread. If you are checking in with SWA today for a flight tomorrow, they are having problems. I did call the 800 number and after waiting about 15 minutes, they did confirm it was a system problem and they were working on it. It has been about 2 hours since I first tried and still not working.

What happens is that when you try to retrieve your airline reservation to check-in, you get the following message: "Oops! Sorry, your itinerary is ineligible for checkin online. Please proceed to any Southwest Airlines Ticket Counter to check in for your flight."

UPDATE: The system problem has been fixed. I was able to finally print my boarding passes. Yeah!!

BUT I am at 10 days !
So in 10 days we should have arrived at AKL and with a little pixie dust our room will be ready and on Zebra Trail

I don't want to do online check in
Can you make requests there?

Thank you so much for the update, I was wondering what was going on but glad someone took the time to check "for me"! Safe flight tomorrow, we're leaving at 7am!

you can make some request such as ground floor, close to transportation but you cannot write any comments

does anyone know - does your credit card get charged immediately for the DDP when you check-in on-line?

I like the idea of getting my "request" in early by checking-in as soon as allowed, however, my credit card billing date is one day before we actually arrive at WDW - I'd prefer to have our DDP go through AFTER that date as it gives me 6 weeks to play with the credit card company's money, vs. my own!

I had almost talked myself into taking shorts, but ugh....I have to wait until both are in the 5-day. And I think we'll be checking affiliate and newspaper sites IN Orlando. That's usually the most accurate info.

We leave in less than two days! I'm so excited, but starting to feel the stress! I'm packing sooooo many clothes "just in case" and I'm so glad we're not flying (where I'd have to worry about the weight of our suitcases).

Just had to let some of my excitement out...and, I knew everyone here would understans.

We leave tonight on the 1am flight. However, the first week of our trip will be visiting my in-laws in Colorado. Then, off to WDW!!

The forecast looks like some nice days and some rainy days. but, anything beats the -30 we have been stuck at for the past week. I am so looking forward to above zero temps and most of all...daylight!

I still have to pack, and I have another 2 hours at work. blah...

my boyfriend and I just got back..the whole week was in the 30s-40s and now that we've left..the highs are in the 70s hahaha we had an amazing time however and are going through disney withdrawal already
