Two weeks from today.....

We'll have eaten breakfast at Donald's at AK and are already in Epcot "taking a lap." Raglan Road for dinner. One last viewing of Illuminations before leaving two weeks from tomorrow.

But I could check-in tomorrow. That's nuts!

And when DH stops snoring--he's currently in "his chair--we'll go look at the travel supplies and finish our Wal-Mart list for later this week. Thank goodness for finals and early release days--I get to shop ALONE!!!!!

I haven't used the online check-in but you will have a packet with all your "stuff" when you arrive. Basically, you just don't have to wait in line to check in at the resort-no interaction with CMs. I like actually dealing with them-they have always been great & if I have any questions they can answer them for me then. If you go during a busy time then it sounds like the on-line check in is the way to go!

Not sure if this varies by resort, but we did online check-in for AKL in June 2009, and we DID wait in line. For a VERY long time. Behind ONE man who was VERY unhappy with his room assignment. When we FINALLY got our turn, the CM gave us the aforementioned packet, showed us on the map where our room was, etc. (We did not find out our room number until we arrived.) The CM was very friendly, answered all of our questions, and gave my daughter several stickers. Hope that helps!

2 weeks from now I will be lying in a bed in Minneapolis TRYING to fall asleep knowing that I will have to be getting up at the butt crack of dawn to catch a flight to WALT DISNEY WORLD!!!!! Can anybody say "Sleepless night"?

Hopefully 2 weeks from now I will have had the pleasure of a DIS meet with Northern Disney Girl and her adorable family at the Mall of America!!!
I should be able to sleep just fine, since I have no excitement of going to WDW the next day! HA!

t-13 for us now...eek really 12 days till we leave our house as we leave Sat 23rd to get to Manchester, NH...not totally looking forward to the 7 hr drive..but am looking forward to the Kittery, ME outlets and a non-stop flight to the most magical place on earth!

We're getting just a touch restless, only two more days! Looks like the cold weather steak is going to stop right before we get there (it could be -10 and we would still have a good time).

And an FYI, I read that the decorations/lights on the castle will be up until 1/14, not sure what that means for all the other holiday decorations though. Wishing all the Snow Birds a great trip!

2 weeks today and I will be sitting on a plane on my way to the most enchanting place on this Earth - WALT DISNEY WORLD!!!!!

By this time already I will have been awake since 5am (CST) and I won't care cause I will know that in just 3 short hours I will be in my happy place!

AND, it will be HOT!!! Oh yes, it will be so nice and toasty warm! Accuweather is predicting a hig of 80 degrees F on Monday January 25th!

I agree i cant remember temps like that in january in florida... i think i need to add more summerish clothes to my packing list!!!

I'm at the 10 day mark!!!! I thought it would never get here. I decided not to do the online check in because I have some specific requests (including adjoining rooms with my mother) that I couldn't put there. Hopefully we will get what we need.

Now I just need my son to recover from pneumonia, and we will be good to go!

You could still do the online check in (If you booked with Disney by phone, or asked for special requests via phone). The online check in will not affect the previous specific requests made by phone. Hope your Son feels better.

Oh thanks, good to know! I booked through a TA but she put our requests on our res. The only thing I didn't ask for is a bed rail for my son - should I call for that?
