January 2010. . . Anyone else going???

Congrats! I noticed your Pre-trip report about drinking around the world. We attempted that last time but were too tired. Maybe this time! :cool1:
I definitely plan on spending some quality time at the new tequila bar in EPCOT! ;)

what tequila bar?! where is it?!

Hi Jazzygirl,

They don't have seats at the bar it only standing, but it is a good place to be. The bartenders are great and sometimes you can even taste one of the other drinks when they have little left. Alot of people get their drinks to go so if your staying make sure they use glass not plastic, the drink looses something when it's in a plastic cup. I'm sure if you go once you will go again!
So enjoy.......:flower3:

Breaking news... we have a resort update. We are now staying at All-Star Music Suites (same dates 1/13-1/20). We are bringing our cousin Dillan (15) along, his Mother (Hubby's Aunt) passed away this summer and he now lives with us. He is very excited, it's his first visit! We can't wait to "break him in".:)

Things are going pretty good. The cancer continues to respond to the chemo and I feel better as well. I am having a pretty good case of neuropathy in my hands and feet. The nerves are pretty shot from the high doses I was getting up until September. But hey…. As long as I get better I can live with some numb hands and feet. My hair is even growing back (it’s like over an inch long, woo-hoo:cool1:). Dear Hubby as been phenomenal as well as the kids. Even Dillan who has been through a ton with his Mom has been a great help. It’s all good (or a least better!;)). Keeping my fingers crossed.

Just made my final payment... got to hear the automated system say "Reservation paid in full!!" 47 days to go! :cheer2:

37 days and I got my ME package either yesterday or today....I didn't check the mail until today so....

Words can not express how excited I am! I am so in need of this vacation!!!!

Winter weather advisory in effect right now for my area!!! Come on 37 days and that Florida sunshine!

I thinking to go to disney for Jan 14-17 at CBR! I hope my mom will call Disney as soon as possible!

Our trip that was postponed for January is BACK ON!! :cool1::cool1:

DH and I were originally signed up to run in the half marathon but then I found myself accidentally pregnant. I knew I'd never be ready to run in the marathon so we decided not to go.

DH just came to me this morning and told me that he was taking the family to Disney as my Christmas present :thumbsup2 We aren't going to have a super long, on-property stay. We are going to be staying at the Hilton DTD and doing the park for just 3 days. That's MORE than enough for us, especially since we'll be traveling with a new baby.

SO, it looks like we'll be traveling to Florida 1/21-1/27. Our Disney days will be 1/23-1/25. The rest of the time will be spent visiting with family in the Orlando area.

So happy to be heading back down in January, 2010! Now, it's time to plan!

I wanted to share the great price I just got on a rental car for our trip (Jan 6 to 16). Standard car through priceline $10 a day. The total was under $200 for the 10 days. So if you are still looking for a rental car deal, you may want to try priceline.

Hotwire.com has $168.31 for your dates, I've always found them cheaper. You may want to book from them.

I just checked hotwire. The $168.31 is for an economy car. Standard is over $200. My DH lived in the Orlando area for years and we use the car quite a bit to visit friends off property. My DH is over 6'3" so unfortunately he is not comfortable in an economy size car. Thanks for the hint that hotwire usually comes in cheaper.
