I'm at the POLYNESIAN!!!

TOKELAU. Isn’t that just a fun word to say? Say it with me: TOkeLAu!

Great post Emma! I love the Poly pics and can't wait to see more! I love your hair in that picture its so cute! lol i said Tokelau out loud, louder than usual, and my dad just rolled his eyes at me:rotfl:

Just a little behind,

Loved your sunrise pictures. It is so pretty in the morning with everything all aglow. Not sure if that is a word, but it describes how I feel about the sunrise.

The pictures from VB resort are very pretty. How fun that you got to stay there before your trip.

Wow the line to get into MK parking looks horrible, I bet you were happy you were just heading to the Poly. I can only dream of staying there someday.:flower3: It is so expensive, but so beautiful.

I too just love your style of writing. You are fabulous at descriptions, your professors must love to read your assignments. Keep up the excellent reports. I am horrible at writing, good thing I don't get paid to do that.:rotfl:

OMG! How did I miss this? I'm going back to the beginning to read now...

pretty much all I can say... as indeed I have been saying for the majority of tis report is WOW!!!
I can completely imagine your mood and state of mind when you went 'exploring' (I say it in inverted comma's because I know it's pretty much just doing what you always do! :rotfl: ) I had the exact same thing when I arrived in WDW, when I was walking up the parking lot towards Epcot I had tears in my eyes... there's just something about WDW!! I too am planning my vow renewal at WDW! :rotlf:

EDIT: ooh Ireland... how exciting!! I have lots of friends from Northern Ireland and they say it's a lovely place to be, I have never been to either N. Ireland or Ireland itself but I'm going to Dublin during my Easter break to watch my dad in a race there, I can't wait to explore it!! Which uni did you apply to?

again great post! i love the Polynesian pictures! its amazing there!!! can't wait to hear about Chef Mickey's.

Alas, I couldn’t stay forever. And I guess…philosophically and realisitically, I wouldn’t want to stay forever. But I would’ve loved to stay for like…hours…the whole day….until I got sick of it.
lol i think i would want to stay there as long as the sun was up, rising, or setting, or during fireworks, no pure darkness though

I love sunset point. I’m only 19, I don’t have a boyfriend, and when I do get married it’ll be in a Catholic church. But I am ALREADY planning my 10-year vow renewal here. lol!!
:rotfl2:

Ahh, Emma! I feel your pain! I wish I could give Tricia a Disney Wedding, but for the reason you mentioned, I will have to content myself with giving her a Disney Honeymoon.

(Darn. That means that I can't come along!) :rotfl2:

Kathy

p.s. I have a gorgeous stepson, majoring in biomedical engineering at NC State, who just happens to be between girlfriends right now.....

Tall, blonde, athletic, sweet, and loves WDW! :rolleyes1

I can totally get the vow renewal at WDW. I just don't understand the requirements to have it in the church since one of the things they taught us in school was "omnipresent". But oh well. A Disneymoon would be just as nice. Besides, I have people in my family and friends who would not come if my wedding weren't in a chruch.

I love your pictures. Your reports are always so much fun with the AG dolls. I almost got one for myself last year, but decided to put the money towards another Disney trip.

Good luck with working there yourself! I so wish that I had done that while I was in school.

The Poly looks beautiful! If I could pick any resort in the World to stay at, regardless of price, I think I might chose that...it looks so homey and resort-y and vacation-y!

You've never heard of L.M. Montgomery? Anne of Green Gables? :scared1: Get thee to a library, pronto! That's like, classic literature. No book worm can be without it. :thumbsup2

And for what it's worth, I think the BBC Jane is pretty, in her own way. You have to remember that beauty was judged differently back then...stately and "Grecian" was considered more handsome over the bright, lovely style that we prefer today. Just different perspectives. ;-) But I think you'd make a lovely Lizzie...you have the hair! My hair is similar to yours; maybe not AS thick (although it is ridiculously thick in it's own way); mine is auburn. I am chuffed because I recently figured out away to make it smooth and big-curly without ANY blow-drying or heat used. I just put some Bio Silk on it after I washed it (had it for years, but I've slacked off recently) and wore it up until it was dry. It's ridiculously amazing. :D

My baby brother is doing great; thanks! I will have to hunt up a recent picture of him for you. Mom's already planning his first trip to Disneyland when he's five, lol! He was a month premature, you know...he was born only a few days after mom and I got back from a whirlwind trip to Southern CA in May. We like to joke that he went to Disneyland, liked it so much that he decided to cut his swimming vacation short and come a month early, and he's been complaining about being jipped ever since! Poor boy. ;-)

I love the pictures of the Polynesian, it looks absolutely wonderful! I didn't think it was possible, but your pictures are making me even more excited for my stay there. :goodvibes

Oh Emma, your Disney Wedding comment made me LOL.
Although, may I point out that a Disney wedding and a DVC membership costs about the same. LOL. ;)

I am so amazed at how excited you are everytime you visit the Polynesian. It's always like you've never seen it before. What a beautiful little soul you are!:goodvibes:

I can't wait to hear about Dart @ Chef Mickeys!

This day is New Year's Eve, right?

:moped: Yep, it took a moped to get me caught up on your trip report, but I made it. Everything looks and sounds just wonderful and the pictures of the beach were just what I needed in the middle of a major winter storm. I still don't know how you do it - school, trip reports, homework. All I have is work and I get DAYS behind. Good for you! I can't wait to hear more!

Fabulous update! Ohhh, what I wouldn't give to be in that hammock right now! :beach:

I adore your happy snob shadow picture, it just conveys your happiness and that made me smile. :goodvibes
