So exciting!!! I can't wait to hear about the cruise starting--aka when you're actually on the ship! I think it would be SOOO much fun to go on a Disney cruise...maybe someday!
Regarding the characters on your keys for your cruise: I believe Goofy is for Castaway Club Members and Donald's are for first time Disney cruisers. I am not sure what Mickey is - maybe concierge?
You are so observant! We sailed on the Wonder last July and I have to admit that I didn't notice the floor in the terminal was the ocean and I never realized the ceiling was "wavy". Geez. At least I noticed the model ship ... I always tell DH that I'd make a terrible witness to any crime.
We are cruising again in August 2009 ... I'm making it a point to view the floor!!!
Yay, you're on the ship!!!! It's beautiful and what a greeting when you come aboard!! Very cool, I feel like I'm right there with you, Emma!! You lunch looked pretty good, so sorry to hear about the desserts...I'm so upset for you! Although, I guess in a way it's good...if I were there, I'd gain too much weight to wear my cute cruise wear if they were tasty!!!! LOL!!
That's a shame about your ring! It was such a cute ring, reminds me of a sea urchin of some sort....very pretty!!! Sorry you lost it. I was cracking up about Atilla....omg, too funny!!!!!! He gave you the evil eye....lol!!
Oh Yum! Those food pics looked so yummy. I have to say that I am not a huge fan of "mass produced" desserts, like the ones on buffets and such. I don't think they are that great.
You're on the ship! You're on the ship! You're on the ship!!!
How awesome that they greeted you all like that! It reminds me of the camp I worked at for 3 summers. It's called Pine Cove Christian Camps in Tyler, TX and I worked at one of the 3 family camps. Every time a car would pull up on opening day, we would jump up and down and cheer for them. No kidding--we had multiple dads cry every week. There's just something about making families feel like they're wanted... It sounds like Disney did a wonderful job of it!
That food looks AMAZING! I think I could make a WHOLE MEAL out of the bread! I absolutely love bread. Sorry the desserts were not yummy at all. That's a real bummer. And I'm sorry you lost your ring. But maybe you can find another like it someday.
wow love the ship! Definately making me want to go on a cruise more and more!
The food looks delish! I've never heard of strawberry soup but it sounds pretty tasty, I'm like you with the whole not a lot of pulp thing though, so I think it would have passed on that too! It sucks the deserts just didn't taste good, I hope they got better as the cruise went on and you tried different places!!
