Oooh pick me!! I am planning our kids first trip (and mine since 93) for the first week in January. I cannot stop thinking of all I have to do.. and am so glad to have found this board for all of my questions.. I am hoping to stay at the Poly.. how about you??

I already booked our Jan 09 stay at the Poly! It will be my first trip to WDW!

Woohoo! We're going to be at AKV Jan 7-15th. My wife is running in the half marathon and I'm always looking for an excuse to go to Disney World.

I'll be in WDW in Jan 09.
For those who don't know it yet, and maybe didn't see the precious post. The Marathon weekend happens in January every year.
That's what I'll be there for, Probably will stay at Poly, just waiting to see what packages the sports vacation people come up with. Hopeing they will upgrade us to the Conciege like this year.

Anyone worried about the impact of the Super Bowl on their trip??? We are going to be there the week prior... didn't realize that when I booked though!!!

Is WDW Resorts listing prices for 2009? My DH said we could go to Disney for our 25th wedding anniversary!!! (January 13th) I think we might go to Disneyland but they're not listing packages yet. Going to Disneyworld with my Mom in October..so at least I have something to plan!

We will be there Jan. 25th - 31st. We are deciding between SSR and BCV. We were all set on SSR with BC next year, but then I started looking at pictures of BCV and I don't know if I want to wait!

We're planning to go January 17-24. It will be the first visit for all my kids (then 7, 5, 3 and 7 months). I haven't been since I was a spring breaker in 97. Anyone know how crazy it is MLK weekend?

We'll be going Jan 17-25th. It will be the first trip for our two daughters, a 10 year anniversary trip for DH and I and we're taking my mom along to help with the kids! CAN'T WAIT!!!

Why is this a concern? Is the Super Bowl in Orlando in 2009??? Then it would have an impact on flight availability. Please say it isn't so. We are palnning on Jan 22-29

I am discussing with my TA. Tampa is only 1.5 hours away so maybe traffic in the parks will be bad???

Not sure if anyone is still discussing on here. Just had to chime in, i'm planning for my two sisters and I to do our first trip to WDW January 5-12th, 2009! SOOOOOOOO excited! Does anyone know how crazy it is typically at that time? I know it is value season but still here it can be a nutty month.
