January 2009. . . Calling all Snowbirds ~ Part V

Welcome Back Carrie! Can't wait to see pictures!

for safe travels for Shelly and Trixie and everyone else leaving over the next few days...including me and my extended family- tee hee!

I can't wait to see all my Snowbird friends next week!!!!!

I'll be there all next week!!!! Hooray!
You can both look for me and my family too! We'll be at MK on Monday (how crazy does that sounds?!) and we're staying for Spectro and Wishes. It's our only chance to see Spectro since we'll be at DHS on Thursday for Fantasmic. That's the only other night for Spectro next week. Bummer. But, we should all meet up and watch Spectro together. I'm sure my DD would love meeting some Jr. Snowbirds!!! We could make this another official Snowbird meet! Oh yeah!!!

We should be there Monday for Spectro and Wishes too Hope it doesn't look like this !

Well, we had some excitement here tonight!! DD5 lost her first tooth!!! It had been loose since New Year's Day. It took about 20 minutes for her to do anything about it, but she grabbed it and pulled it out herself!! I was practically in tears! So was her sister. Too bad Dad had to miss it since he's at work! She was so funny - crying, laughing, after it was out, she went and hid by the side of my bed (her favorite spot) and was crying. She didn't know what to do!! DD7 was awesome, so encouraging and excited. Proud moment for Mommy! sniff, sniff
Just had to share with my buddies!

So now, look for a little girl with long dark hair and one missing tooth on the bottom!! (Although the other bottom one is loose too) The tooth fairy may have to travel with us! Gold dollar coins are on the packing list.

Congrats on losing her first tooth! My how fast they grow! My son knocked his front two teeth loose a couple months ago. He hit them into my daughter's very hard head in a head on collision in our hallway Oh the joys of motherhood. They've been hanging in so far but I'm taking the gold coins in my suitcase just in case we need them in Disney. I'm hoping they hang in a while longer though. He's not even 5 yet!

I might be a little late for the meet but I will be there as soon as I can.... our flight lands at 7:07 pm... that gives me 1 hour and 20 minutes to get on Magical Express... get to the hotel,check in, get to our room, ditch the husband and boys, find CBR meeting place and the SNOWBIRDS!!!

Hi, peeps! I'm back! Been back for a few days...consumed with school registration and family visits!

We had an absolutely magical time! Seriously...it was awesome! Not a smidge restful, but wonderful! We didn't wait in any lines, had so many fun experiences, and got some great pictures!

I'm still on a Disney high! So, I gotta get caught up on you all and see who went and who still has to go! And today I get to upload my photopass pictures! YIPPEE!!!!!

We leave in TWO days and I can't wait. But I am FREAKING OUT! Everyone around us is dropping like flies to a "stomach bug". I was so tempted to keep my kids out of school for the next 2 days, but they are already missing 4 days (yeah, yeah, it's Pre-K, but still...). Please pray/cross your fingers/burn sage/whatever it is you like to do that we don't get sick!

Just wanted to hop on for a moment and thank all of you who sent your condolences on the death of my mother-in-law. Your thoughts and caring really help. The funeral was yesterday; she was a remarkable woman. May she rest in peace.

Good afternoon Snowbirds.... just taking a break before the storm hits (27 teenagers)......as if my day wasn't crazy enough we received some sad news today also ... my Grandfather and a long time family friend both passed away this morning..... my Grandfather lived in Utah and I hadn't seen him in a while (he and my grandmother had divorced and he was remarried)... he was 85 years old.. and has lived a good life..... Roger - our family friend has been ill for many years and as hard as it is... this was probably a blessing as he was suffering so much....

so I guess it is a good thing that I will have tons of hormones flying around my house tonight... keeping me occupied....

I was so afraid of getting sick before my trip! However, I didn't. Now on the other hand I'm starting to get something...JOY!

Tonight, I'm going to try and write up a Trip Report. I started the first few days already, but it's kind of boringcrazy2: ) So I need to see if I can "spruce" it up a bit.

Ok I'm off to watch some of the shows I taped while in Disney.....I WANNA GO BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone! Been back for 2 days now but it's been hectic what with starting classes and all. Our trip was fantastic! Little to no crowds and we had a blast. I took 300+ pictures which I will load up and begin my trip report soon (I hope).

I wish I was still there though!
