There's a bunch of Snow Birds staying at POP. We'll be at POP 1/21-1/28 as well (first time staying there too). We remember our first trip with the kids two years ago, there is nothing like it in the world. Enjoy!!!

Hi everyone, we are back from our trip.
Back to the cold here in Pa. What a shock to the system.
We had a wonderful time. Weather was great except for yesterday.
Which made it easier to go home. Crowds were a bit high, but no higher
then when we were there in Aug. 07. By Monday we noticed less people, yesterday was really less people. But I did notice many checking in when waiting for ME. Those 4 for 3 people as I called them.
The Christmas decoration were so magical. Words, pictures videos, do not do any justice to Osborne lights. One must see with their own eyes.
Spent today putting away xmas decorations, and cleaning and grocery shopping. What fun,...real world stinks. Worst part was having to cook dinner. I am going to start my TR this weekend hopefully. I am having a surprise party (YES JUST WHEN HE THOUGHT THE SURPRISES WERE DONE ) for DS on Saturday. So maybe Sunday. I will post the link here to share all my pictures with my snow friends. I truly believe DH and myself will be real snowbirds some day. Florida in January is so amazing!

I can understand the aggrivation with DHs however since I'm not dragging Prince Phillip this time, he seems to be more agreeable and easier to deal with LOL!!! Except for the whole my office area is a disaster with packing stuff LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup Yup...only 6 more days...I'm so excited!! So I finally printed my transfers last night...now I have to was the shirt...I feel like the little engine that good ...slow and steady....YAY!!!!!!!!!! oh wait maybe that was the turtle who beat the hare...man I have my children stories all mixed up this morning!

Just got my paperwork today (we check-in on Jan. 31 but it had to be forwarded to me from my TA). Everything looks great except for one thing...
The voucher that you get for the free 5x7 photopass photo has an expiration date of Jan. 31 2009 -- the day we arrive!

Can someone else who has received this voucher verify for me everybody's expires on the day they arrive (or specifically on Jan. 31) or if this is something I need to get corrected???

ONE WEEK TO GO and we'll be on the plane already to DISNEY!!!

I have a question about Rope Drop.....We would love to try to see one at the MK but how early do we have to get there then, especially if we are staying offsite? I think it opens at 9am the day we are there.

Are the Osbourne Lights down already now? I don't remember seeing them last Jan we went and I'm sure they did them years ago too. I'd love to see WDW at Christmastime but maybe some other time.

Ok, now I have to get back to figuring out what to pack cause the cold temps at night there are confusing me.. ..but when we leave next week it's supposed to be in single digits here!! AAAHHH...I'm afraid of leaving in snow and de-icing and then coming back to that too and landing...

You should be fine to get there around 8:30. They start the opening ceremony around 8:45.

Well, our weather forecast keeps getting worse... sort of.

We're up to 1-3" of snow today and a bunch more OVERnight. Hopefully they really mean OVERnight. I, of course, am stressing about getting to the airport and I'm making myself sick doing so. I'm SUCH a chick! I'm working on convincing the husband-oid that we should get out of work at 4 and not 5, just to make life a little easier.

But that said, I'm kind of beside myself with excitement!

If all goes well, this time tomorrow, we'll be either waiting for Garden Grocer to deliver our food (they called yesterday to confirm!) or on our way to WWoS to pick up husband's marathon stuff!

In 48 hours, we'll be waiting, hopefully, for the husband to cross the finish line of the marathon!

And, Meghan, I had to pick up my UT tickets from the post office - they didn't deliver them. I appreciate the extra caution but it is strange that you didn't have to do that. And I had the devil of a time finding my post office [it isn't near me at all - there are several others much closer, odd isn't it?].

That's strange. On the site it didn't say anything about picking up from the post office. It just said that the tickets would come in a plain white or brown envelope and to make sure you don't throw them out with junk mail!

I hope that you DS feels better soon! Better to get sick now than at WDW! My DD was sick a week before Christmas and then I was sick the Sunday after. We got it out of our system. I'm still worried about getting sick though. While I was teaching ballet Wed night, my students were telling me that pnemonia (sp) and bronchitis are going around the schools. What?! That's crazy. We are praying that we stay healthy these next few weeks.
