I think I'm going to req. Aruba or Jamaica...whichever has been refurbed. I think the playground idea sounds good unless its too chilly.

You will be in Martinique or Trinidad North (I would ask for Martinique - it has been rehabbed, TN hasn't yet) if you paid for perferred. We are hoping for Jamaica or Aruba, just right across the bridge from OPR. Although I am going to ask about the pirate rooms when we check it! They are set to open 3 days after we check in, so we couldn't book one. They are in TS - which is the furthest out.

We want a pirate room as well...I keep checking on line to see if they release them early...you never know! Did you see the pics of the pirate room on the Mom's Paneliest thread?? They look pretty cool

On the DIS Forums page, near the bottom there is a Creative thread and there are DISigners that help you out! They are amazing! Then you just print them at home on transfer paper, cut & iron on...really easy and fun too!

Good evening and Happy New Years Snowbirds! Just got back from having christmas with the inlaws and boy did we make out, we got a ton of disney gift cards! It will make the trip so easy! I also got the super cute Mickey duffle bag from avon that I wanted!

Wow. The Cheesecake Factory has HUGE portions! I had a mini barbeque chicken pizza and side salad, but I had to leave room for cheesecake (of course!). My DH and I split a slice of chocolate peanut butter cookie dough cheesecake. It was super delicious! Our DD had a great time at the movies with Grandma too. Now, I need a quick cat nap because we rented "Step Brothers" and I want to be able to stay up and watch it!

My DH and I split a slice of chocolate peanut butter cookie dough cheesecake. It was super delicious! Our DD had a great time at the movies with Grandma too. My mom and I made the portion size mistake at Cheesecake Factory once. We ordered an appetizer (nachos) and the lunch salad & pizza meal. Well, the appetizer was large enough for a family of 6... and it was a FULL dinner size salad and a personal size pizza. We ... just packed the pizza to go and couldn't even pretend we had room for dessert!


We just took down all our Christmas stuff, with the exception of my cross-stitched piece over the fireplace. It does make the house feel cleaner, that's for sure!!

Tomorrow, it's back to work, having been off since 3pm on Christmas Eve. On the plus side, it's Friday! On the plus PLUS side, it's one of 6 work days until we leave for Disney World!!

Computer help needed. My comp. is making me want to kill it. It keeps doing these pop-ups about security issues. It even turns off my computer!!!! what should I do? I hate this!!! yesterday I kept trying to get on with ya'll, and everytime I would try to post, it turned the whole thing off!!! I am about to scream!!!

You may want to run an antivirus scan (McAfee or Norton), and a scan against adware - something like AdAward or Spybot, both of which are free downloads. Good luck - it can be quite difficult to diagnose & fix.

Yay... I get a 3 day weekend! Then I only work 2 days...then DISNEY!

I've got a lot of things that need to get done this weekend. Mainly laundry and t-shirt making.

Tomorrow I have to go shopping with my brother (which is ALWAYS a treat.... ). He decided about 5 minutes ago that he will need new jeans and a new pair of tennis shoes. *I should be glad he isn't realizing this Tuesday night.* Plus I need to take all my change to the bank.

I think tonight I'm going to make my mom watch High School Musical. She hasn't seen it yet and I got it for my birthday in August.

We'll try to make it too!! I don't know yet what we're doing that day - possible DAK. I just haven't over-planned our days this year. I know what days have the EMH and what not, but that's about it.

So this week, worked out actions/to-do for trip list, ordered and received my WDW park tickets (saving $50 from gate price), ordered Castle Cake for Girls Day Out Afternoon Tea.......


Had pork and sauerkraut and steamed shrimp for dinner. DH and DD3 are watching the Nittany Lions in the Rose Bowl. Go Penn State!!!

2009 is really looking up!!!

This time last year I was making arrangements for placing my Grandma in a care facility and going to WDW. This year I think will be a more relaxing trip!!! Do I need it.

I am a horrible person for stealing quarters out of my child's Disney Fund Piggy Bank? I need to do laundry in Disney World - I mean, it's Disney related....

What date? I'm not sure if this will be too late or not but I will definitely try to meet up! I have youngin's and they can get a bit unruly at bedtime. Hubby wouldn't survive if I left him alone for the bedtime routine, especially since I'm worried about how my youngest is going to do sleeping in a strange place.
