Good morning Birdies! Had an early night last night (yes, we are the ULTIMATE party animals)! Went to SIL's for munchies, buy hubby has sinus gunk, I got a migraine, so we were home by 9. I'm almost embarassed to say that. I think I was asleep by 10 or so. I did wake up right at midnight and hear the neighbors shooting off fireworks. I watched for a few minutes then the baby woke up crying for "chocit miwk" so I made him a cup and he snuggled in bed with me...nighty night! So I'm up enjoying the peaceful house, had some coffee, biscotti and Dis, I am a happy girl!
I'm happy to see 2008 go, too. This has been the most trying year in our family-just personal issues that have been worked out. Nothing major, but still stressful. My NY Resolution is to finally get the courage and self-esteem to get a new career, even if it means going back to school or taking a pay cut. I've been in the same state job since I graduated from college (OMG 11 years ago) and I hate it but make enough that if I started over somewhere I'd start at the bottom, plus working for a govt facility, we get tons of vacation, sick, holidays, etc. And the job isn't HARD, it's just mindless which is very stressful for me. Second NR Res is to work on paying off debt instead of accumulating more! Anyone else have one??
