Which part of the State of MN do you work for? My DH and I both work for the Dept of Corrections. I use the internet for my job as well, just that the State of WI blocks chat rooms...but the other Disney site is not blocked, but it's not as exciting as this one.

I work in the Courts - Judicial branch. We just got our computers upgraded and now we have lots of access. Very few things are blocked, but some emails get caught by filters.

Bed time for me too here. Good night my fine feathered friends. Stay warm everyone.

and I just realized how close Mickey is to the castle.
I'm so excited.
Crap.
I'll never sleep now.

Wow, that is close!!!
I don't recall if I've asked you this..who are you flying with? Airtran, Midwest, Southwest out of milwaukee? Do you go down the night before and stay at a local hotel? Or do you flight out of Appleton?

Glad you and your daughter had a great time...what a nice treat from your DH.

Good Night all.

So I wake up to discover now that AirTran is charging for their first bags. $15.00. I went to the website and it says that it will take effect for flights booked at Nov. 12 and go into effect Dec. 5.

What are these airlines trying to do. I understand that everyone has this huge money issue, but I think it's getting to be cheaper to actually drive everywhere. Ugh. Ok so maybe I'm a little crabby this morning. But seriously, this airline thing has just gone above and beyond ticking me off, and it doesn't apply to me since we booked in Sept. sometime.

Oh well. Hope everyone has a good day.:wizard:

What I don't like about this bag-charge fee is it just increased the amount of luggage - and I mean luggage - that people bring on the flights! I just can't believe the size of some of the suitcases the airlines are allowing on these flights!

Good Morning! Extra cold up here today! -20 C with the windchill factor! Got the girls up and told them to dress warm! DD5 just came down with a rather layered look! She is wearing 4 shirts, 5pairs of pants and 7 pairs of socks! She looks like a little marshmallow! :rotfl: I took a pic that I will try to post later! Gotta go walk DD7 to school! Think warm thoughts for me! :cold:

saw this on All Ears ... not sure if it will still be there when we all arrive...

Tusker House (Animal Kingdom) Lunch to offer reserved seating for Finding Nemo - The Musical! Beginning December 1st, anyone booked for lunch at Tusker House between 1:00pm and 1:40pm will receive a ticket for reserved seating at the Finding Nemo 3:15pm show. If you are already booked during that time frame you will qualify for the reserved seating ticket. Only reservations between 1:00pm and 1:40pm qualify. One ticker per person dining.

Is there really that much problem getting in to see the Nemo Musical that you would need to reserve a lunch to guarantee a seat??? We haven't seen it yet, so I don't know. I just didn't realize that it would be that hard to see it if we wanted to. . . :confused3

Did everyone hear the rumor about a possible pirate character breakfast???

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2012647

I have been saying for years that they should do something like this. Something geared towards families with little boys. There are so many princess meals for girls. I have always thought they should offer something like - Pirates, Toy Story (although my boys are too old for that now), Star Wars, etc. . . Sure hope this Pirate thing is true! :thumbsup2

Last year we got in line for Nemo about 30-40 minutes before show time and we were seated at the very top in the last overflow seating area. The seats in the overflow area can be best described as “high school bleacher like”. No backs and very uncomfortable. It was wall to wall people. If you like Nemo, it’s a must see. I would just get there as early as possible (or keep an eye on how the lines look). If someone planned to see it, a guaranteed seat would save you a big headache (or butt-ache).

Kazooie, was this in January last year, or at a traditionally busier time??

Oh, and :thanks: to everyone for your good wishes on my job situation. It sure was nice when my ID badge worked this morning! :rotfl2:

I hope all works out for those who were not as fortunate as I. :grouphug:

Hey, trixie, who's on the menu today??
