Hola Everyone! My little pumpkin is home sick today. She's got a cold. We are going to bundle up and spend the day laying around and watching movies. It's a very special day today. I'm going to post about it in my PTR a little later, so you'll have to check it out.

Sorry to her Belle is sick- we are all fighting it here too. A lazy day with mommy should make her feel better though!

I wish everyone a healthy and wonderful day.

I am off to work, so no DISing for me until tonight.

I bought Wall-E at work yesterday. They had a one day sale. I bought it for Christmas for the family. It is so hard to keep it a secret. Usually throughout the rest of the year, I buy it that day and we have movie night that night. Due to Christmas and our limited budget now, I am saving them now for presents. My children aren't fully understanding it yet. I cannot wait until Christmas, as we can then spend the day watching their new DVDs.

I was reading from before on this thread that there may be more perks released during the Christmas parade. I hope they release them earlier so we don't try to phone Disney or our travel agents right after. I am still hoping for free dining.

We had a Wall-E movie night last night and I'm sure we'll be watching it again today. I was going to do the same and save it for Christmas but my son has been dying to see it and my hubby argued that we can't make him wait another month for it. (Did I mention my kids have my husband right where they want him at all times!) I didn't put up too much of an argument though because I've been waiting to see it too.

It's difficult to explain all of this economy stuff to the little ones- especially if Santa is involved. I just told my kids that Santa is bringing us money so we can go to WDW and since he is helping us with the big trip he won't be able to bring us too much more than that. I've got to get a few Disney Dollars to put in their stockings so the plan works. I also try to teach my kids the real meaning of Christmas for our family and stress that not everyone is so blessed. Before the holidays we go through our toys and pick a couple we don't play with and donate them to little boys and girls who don't have any.

Ooo! I got a shout out in the PTR! Love it! And I think that's one of the prettiest names out there. Of course, I'm a little biased!

So, hope my peeps are hanging tough! Life is insane here. I feel like I might loose my mind! Seems like there is about 3 months worth of work to cram into a little more than 3 weeks. But I'm still singing the "I'm going home!" song and dancing my happy dance!

Home, then Disney...and then just lots of fun in the good ole USofA until it's time to come back. And by then I know I'll be missing friends and work and ministry here. It won't be easy to say goodbye...but I don't have to think about that now!

I guess I'm goign to make my final payment today. Wow. I can't believe we are that close! How many days does that leave me? 50 days!!! 50 days!!! YIPPEEE!

Well, so far the only packing I've done is the kids summer stuff. It's all in one suitcase, since I'm only taking things I know for sure will fit next summer. We can get better quality clothes in the US for much less, so I plan to buy lots of clothes while we're there. The kids' winter clothes will all fit into one suitcase too. I've also been purging tons of stuff. We've given away 5 garbage bags full of clothes in the last 2 months. The kids have grown, we have shrunk (thankfully!) some and just need new stuff while in the US.

Thankfully someone will live in our apartment, so we don't have to pack up and move before we go. We just need to get personal stuff put away and that's that. And the next big thing on my list is to get the kids toys organized and gone through. I plan to donate lots to local schools and there is also a hospital that takes toys to give away to children. The kids are growing and it's time to organize. Blech.

Well, I got to work whiney and tired and sore. My boss called it her mom mode and asked me to call the doctor's office and see what they had to say. I also love my boss.

Anyway, the nurse I spoke with said that everything is fine, so long as things aren't getting worse. I can't lift/carry anything yet without pain. I'm pretty run down. My appetite is off. She said that was perfectly normal for up to TWO WEEKS.

Man alive! I was thinking it woudl be DAYS for recovery! TWO WEEKS! Well, I guess I shouldn't be so hard on myself now, huh? She was a really really nice nurse and she did scold me appropriately (for forgetting to eat, mostly) and congratulated me (for napping!) and I feel much better now. But why is it so hard for anyone to say "yeaaaaah, recovery takes awhile, okay?"

Oh well. Two weeks takes us right through Thanksgiving. We generally sleep on the floor of DH's aunt's house but this year I insisted that we get a hotel room. I think I'm going to be very grateful I did so! Mmm comfortable sleep!

Also, I can't handle dairy at the moment and that's the basis of every Thanksgiving meal so I need to figure out what I can bring as an alternative that I can eat!!

Well, oh well. At least two weeks leaves me plenty healthy for Christmas/birthday/Disney!

Okay - all of the eye candy was fabulous! I wanted to share the POTC video I found on youtube yesterday. I was looking for something to see if it would be too scary for my kids and instead found a video of Johnny Depp riding through the new ride and checking out Captain Jack's animatronics... pretty cool!

Ok, guys has anyone noticed all the cjanges in times WDW has made? Lots of park hours have changed during my stay. Everything is closing earlier than expaected! I am a bit ticked off! Anyone else seeing their hours at the park cut short?

I think we should have more eye candy today! That was very entertaining

I actually noticed longer hours at DHS when I checked yesterday. Everything else stayed the same I think. I was kind of expecting to see some 7:00 closings at MK so they could throw in some P&PP, but nothing yet. . .

I doubt they are doing P&PP this year by the look of it. There is a post on TP&A and last week or so some dates were released. Last night, all the hours on those dates were bumped from 7 to 8 or 9pm, and Wishes were put back. That would kind of mean that there won't be a party those days. The hours I have had MK open till 11pm two night of MLK weekend and now they close at pm those night. The 2am EMH has changed to 1am. At the HS the weekend night all went to 7pm with one EMH!! I am so bumming!

I think with the discounts and 3 for 4 deal and codes, but less hours that weekend is now going to be more of a zoo that it usually is

Since I'm going to the same time as you I guess I ought to update my hours and make sure things are still looking okay for when I'm going...don't want to have to be making too many changes at this point.
