I will be displaying my LGMH on my backpack. I'll probably put my screen name on it. If people are planning a meet, they could always PM a picture to one another if they're not comfortable posting it. As for me, my avatar is a picture of me!

QOTD- I can't leave the MK without a Dole Whip! It's my favorite snack! On this trip, I'd really like a huge cinnamon bun from the Main Street Bakery! Just seeing a picture of one makes my mouth water!

The travel channel show is Walt Disney World Resort: Behind the Scenes. I'm recording it. I don't think I've seen it. This will be fun to show the family to get them in the mood!!

I've been watching it, and now I think I may have seen it before. It does include a lot of the newer attractions, so if you haven't seen it and you haven't been in a while, it's pretty cool.

And I just called NWA - they would issue me a voucher for future use within a year if I cancel my flights and just drive down with DH. So the $ is still spent, but is it worth it to add two days and change resorts? I could use the voucher toward my Dec 09 trip. I think it may be too much hassle for what it's worth. I plan to get 7 day hopper/no exp tickets anyway and if I get them at SOG, I will save the tax. But will I ever get the deal to stay at a deluxe again? And do I want to spend more just to take advantage of a deal that I really didn't need? I was only staying 4 nights to begin with. OH the dillemma!
I think I'll ask DH what he'd really want to do one more time. I think I have answered my own questions anyway. I'd just as soon leave it as is, know I'm going back in Dec. and I will know to look for deals next fall. Plus we have my MIL and SIl to consider. I don't want them to have to spend more $. I don't know for sure what they want to do. They just keep telling DH whatever you want. Doesn't help me decide! AARRGGHH!!

Hey friends!! Just stopping by for a quick catch-up and then I am off again for awhile!!Been cleaning and the never ending job of .

Well, Shelly I love your new ticker! Noticed it right off the bat!! I figured up my discount and it was better than free dining!! Our dining was $1120 and our savings with the discount was $1200--so this was better+ the gift card if we get it!!!Whoo HOO!! I loooove Beaches and Cream. We were there in 07 and me and my oldest son had been sick the week before we left, so we were still under the weather. Well, we ate here the first evening and got Grilled cheeses and chicken noodle soups. OH MAN!!! They were awesome. The burgers are great and they have the best dang Ice Cream around!!!! Don't know anything about Big River. As far as the wait, we usually have about a 30 min wait or so---but, you can stroll around looking in the resorts and stuff-so it's not too bad. Just make sure you hear them call your name, or that the little thing they give you isn't out of range.


BellaSoleil~ Congrats on the savings!! You got a blessing today!!! Yeah!!!

MaggieD--that story was great!! And I love your pictures. Snow White is one of the best I have seen--there was only one other one we took pictures with when my 9yo was about 2 1/2.She was so pretty and sweet---I think he fell in love with her

Tammy--I am so sorry for your loss I hope you enjoy getting to be with your family this weekend even though it's for a sad occassion. My cousins always cheer me up when we see each other at times like these.

Wendy those pictures are FAB!! I love the Sleeping Beauty. She wins the Aurora prize--they never seem to match her skin/eye coloring with the wig and dress--the ones I see always looked pale and washed out. She's perfect!!!

The china at the tea is what I picked when we got married--Old Country Roses-- I am a romantic at heart!!

Tell Maggie Happy Late Birthday! I forgot to tell her in the hype yesterday!! So, here's a home made just from me!! She's a very beautiful girl!!!

Thanks for all the great pictures Wendy! They get me all excited to go again! I have now convinced my family, friends and co-workers that I am rather Disney obsessed! So glad I have the snowbirds to perpetuate this stereotype and make me feel that it's completely normal to be this way!

I will try to have some kind of LGMH identifier too. We'll have to check dates as the time gets closer so we know who we're looking for!

I hope you guys don't mind, since I know I"m not one of the "leaders" here, but I've been lurking on the DISigns board for a while and today I asked if anyone would like to design some sort of Snowbirds logo for us. I asked for something to print out like a tag, or could use to make a T-shirt if we wanted to do a meet and wear it. Anyway, if something comes up, I'll pass it along. Use it or not - up to you!

Yes Jen... we have watched Wishes from the Poly beach many times... it is so nice.. you can sit there and relax and enjoy the water... and not the crowds
