So cute, my DS3 just came to me with his Hidden Mickeys book and is all chatty about our last trip to WDW...especially the time we were left in the dust by our bus back to AKL from Epcot in the chilly pouring rain (it was last Jan.)

He loves maps these days so he keeps pointing out stuff on the resort map. It's hilarious because he's guessing at most of it. Too cute!

Did you see the link some pages back about maps? There are some really cute ones for kids! I think it was something like www.willcad something. I'm guessing Shelly was the original poster who mentioned it.

Trying to help get us to 100!! Thanks to those who've gobbled me. I've tried and tried to get it to work but I have failed!! I can get the square showing there is a pic but the pic won't show! I'm going to have to get my hubby on it later after the kids go down. There's one clock in my house that I haven't changed and that's what we're going with tonight for bedtimes! Hopefully they'll be down within the next hour (YEAH RIGHT!!!). A girl can dream, can't she... please oh please let mama get some sleep!

That "bedtime" clock is awesome. My DD5 was awake for about two hours last night (2-4 a.m.) and obviously so was I. She is now asleep in bed! I had her in the tub right after dinner and she was losing it by 7!! The blinks were about a minute long! It is now 7:32. One down, one to go! I'm giving her 15 more minutes and that's it! I can barely keep my eyes open. Thank goodness for DVR. I doubt I'll be up to watch my shows tonight!

Ugh! I'm so sorry. Your 'Yeehaw' just made me choke on my wine, though...

If it's any consolation, we got to our resort around 1:00 am last time and we were given the most amazing room... Here's hoping the same thing for you....

That would be pretty fabulous, if it happens! (So long as I get any room at POR, I'm all set, really)

Originally, our flight was set to land somewhere in the 11pm hour. I was wondering if we'd ACTUALLY touch down before midnight... well, now I know we won't!!

Oh, and get this, Detroit Metro airport is raising parking lot rates. Why? Because the airlines need the help and need to be subsidized. I'm sorry, they're charging me $15 for each checked bag and now you're raising my parking from $10/day to $16/day? For the airlines?

Out of spite, I kind of want to hire a taxi service all the time, now! (We hire one when it's cheaper to use them than park, but now... I'd rather pay an honest local businessman than the airport to give more money to the airlines!)

Don't the airlines drive you nuts? They can change your flights willy-nilly and you can't do anything about it. But if you want to change something it will cost you big $$! AARGH! I'm fortunate to have people that will drive me to the airport and pick me up. Saves a few bucks there at least.

Hey, has anyone noticed we're on page 97? And some of our frequent posters are not even around tonight! We may hit 100 yet?

I'm making someone take us to the airport. I'm not sure who yet. It will be weird though... to have someone pick us up from our hotel and drop us off at the airport for our honeymoon.

Did you remember the part of the instructions with the little picture of the mountain? Also if you have too much in your siggie it won't show up. Hope everyone is doing well. I had a fright this morning with an e-mail from Northwest that my flights changed (again). Luckily it only looks like 20 minutes each way, so I can live with that. I'm so paranoid - last trip my airline ceased operations...

I got an email from NWA too! My flight was moved 20 minutes earlier! Not too bad. Better than later. Now we arrive at 5 p.m. Still enough time to go out to DTD and eat!

NWA moved my flight, too - half an hour later. Instead of leaving at 9pm, we're leaving at 9:30 and getting in a hair after midnight. Yeehaw.

Must be their quarterly flight updating or something!!

Yikes! I haven't heard anything yet about mine. I'm hoping that because our flight sold out so long ago (I bought tix in early June), there won't be any schedule changes. Any thoughts?

I get nervous for all you snowbirds with flights!! I really hope things will settle down and they will just leave your flights alone!! I don't fly...unless under extreme reasons! I will take turns driving straight through to Michigan in 18 hours over taking what would be 4 hours to fly....LOL

However I really wish the airlines would stop messing with all of you and just leave your flights in peace!!!

Are you flying NW? It seems to me that every time I fly them (which isn't often, but they are the only airlines I seem to get), my flight time gets changed. Usually not by more than 30 minutes, but still. Last year our flight to Orlando was changed and then it was delayed for two hours. Ugh. It wasn't even weather related.
I'm wondering if it is related to your location. We fly out of Minneapolis/St. Paul, which is a NW hub. Maybe they have to adjust schedules connected to that somehow? Anyone know a flight attendant or pilot who might know?

I told DH that they robbed us of an hour of our vacation time. I wonder if I can change to an earlier flight....without paying for a change? yeah right!

EEEWWWW! I forgot about parking lot rates. We will be in The World for 10 days and that can make for one big parking bill! I think last time we found an off site lot that was about $8-10 per day.

Wow that is crazy! I have never heard of Continental changing flight times, we dealt with it once with USAIRWAYS, but not Continental, our airline of choice.

Not sure if you are or not, but we just found out that if you are a Chase Continental debit or credit card member you don't have to pay the bag fees anymore!
