You two are both TOO YOUNG to have a crush on KR!! My mom (74) loved him!! :rotfl:
I (at 40) have always had a little crush on Rick Springfield. One of the first concerts I ever went to was him at the MN State Fair with my mom, aunt and cousin. I think I was about 11. I never even watched him on general Hospital, just the music. I actually owned one of his albums in vinyl! (For you young folks, that is what CDs used to be before cassette tapes!) :)

Since high school though - it's been no one else but JON BON JOVI!!! OH MY! The great thing is he has aged so well. My kids hear his music and don't believe that I used to listen to it so long ago. They think that's pretty funny.

Jon Bon Jovi...oh he is so hot...:lovestruc :lovestruc

I was "engaged and married" in 1st grade to a 2 grader. We had a wedding during during recess. We "divorced" when he started middle school...very sad.

:rotfl: Middle school - causes so many breakups!!

Well, it's getting to be the dinner hour - must go feed them something healthy before trick or treating. Hope everyone has a safe and happy halloween!!
See you tomorrow!!

I love Orlando Bloom. I think Johnny Depp is an amazing actor and easy on the eyes, but I'm a sucker for an Aussie boy!!!!

Wahh!! As an Aussie, I have to pop in here and mention that Orlando isn't actually Australian, he's English!! I wonder if that changes your decision!?

My favourite Disney guy is ... Jake Gyllenhaal!!

He's filming a Disney film at the moment, The Prince of Persia. It used to be a video game apparently, and now Disney are turning it into a big blockbuster starring Jake! :yay:

He's all buffed up for the role, though the only photos I can find of him filming are shirtless, and as someone else said, we need to keep this family friendly!! So here's Jake with his shirt on... :rolleyes1

Yahooo!! (I didn't do that kiss in the middle of the photos, I promise!)

But you wanted to give him a great big kiss

Surely Sean Astin's been in something Disney related!?!?! I thought Goonies was Disney, but maybe not!

HE WAS in a made for TV movie back in the late 80's called B.R.A.T. Patrol! I am pretty sure that was a disney movie! I think it was aired on the Sunday night Disney slot! :lovestruc

Anybody else around tonite? DH has taken the girls out T&Ting and I am here dishing out the candy! We haven't had too many though! :confused3 Oh well, more for me!

I'm around I'm around...going to fix dinner here in a few minutes but I'll be around tonight for a bit just doing some Trip report reading inspiring myself for my next episode!! And since its Halloween I might go listen to the story behind the Haunted House...doonbuggies has a great version that would be perfect to listen to tonight!!

Hi Snowbirds Happy Halloween . I survived the Phillies parade in Philly today. :thumbsup2 We had a great spot right at 17th and Market. I saw PAT:lovestruc . No love from him but rollins blew me a kiss and laughed when my DS shook his head. It was great. I am going to post pics on my Pre trip report if you like to see them. Only negative thing was SEPTA! OMG:scared1: we waited 4 hours to get home on the train. It was unreal. People going up in the front of the line and the transit police not doing a darn thing, even when you asked them. What made me the hottest was when we finally got on a train, nothing but empty seats when we pulled out of the station. Here all that time they were only allowing so many people to get on the train. The train that we rode up on,was standing room only.We got home at 6pm. DS want out trick or treating without me for the first year.:sad1:She was not gone to long, she is tired. She has two friends spending the night. Punkin pie and apple cider.DS want out with friends and then has a party. He is going to be exhausted. Enjoy your little ones they grow up so fast.
Soleil your princess: is so cute. I miss those days.

QOTD- Orlando Bloom

My celeb crushes - Jimmie Johnson and Chris Daughtry!
 I so agree!
OK here is my vote for hottest guy (not Disney-sorry)

Phillys own hottie!

Okay! If we are talking Disney Men - than definitely Orlando. :lovestruc If it is just your average, run of the mill celebrity, than my vote is for my LONG TIME (like 21 yrs) crush - Sean Astin! I have seen The Goonies over 100 times! I am not kidding! I seriously have every line memorized! :rotfl: How lucky could I be to have both guys in the same movie! Lord of the Rings so rocks! :yay:

I LOVE The Goonies!!!! My mom actually bought me the dvd for my birthday this past June. My DH had never seen it! I was shocked. I used to watch it almost daily as a kid. We had taped it when it was on tv or something on Beta!!! Yes, we had a beta vcr when I was little. I too LOVED Sean Astin in that movie.

We got done trick or treating around 7:30. We then chatted with our neighbors for awhile and my DD ran laps around our front yard. Now, we're watching the Rescuers Down Under and warming up a bit. It was nice outside, but very windy! We have quite a lot of candy now and I have to stop myself from eating it!

I'm am SOOO glad I checked in here before bed.

All of this eye candy floating around . . .

QOTD: It's a toss up between Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp. Both are yummy!

Oops I forgot to share...read this over on the code watch thread and thought it was interesting...especially about the Jan bookings being down too. Perhaps some good discounts are in store for all of us Snowbirds!!! Okay now I am REALLY going this time!

"I spoke to my TA earlier......basically, my friends, it sounds like we're out of luck for today.

I don't want to share too much of what she said without her permission, but basically it sounds like discounts open up at 7 a.m. on the date they are released. Now being past noon in my neck of the woods, she pretty much told me to go home, relax and have a nice weekend.

Ugh. Another few days to wonder what the discount will be!

That said, it certainly did sound as if there would, eventually, be something. And she mention that bookings were down for the month of January, which suggests that the discount may be attractive.

So hope springs eternal for all us faithful code watchers. But it doesn't sound like there will be any treats from Disney in time for Halloween."

I hope it's a VERY attractive discount for all y'alls sake...

Shelly that stinks but doesn't surprise me My mom just flew to DC from Madison non stop & wasn't even offered soda or water!! On the plane for almost 2 hours & no drinks. The airlines are really cheapskating out anymore.

They probably laid off the people that sorted the bags with the Mickey Tags on them

That's why I stick with Delta, I always feel special when I fly with them.

I love Orlando Bloom. I think Johnny Depp is an amazing actor and easy on the eyes, but I'm a sucker for an Aussie boy!!!!

The teachers say Belle and the little blonde boy in front of her are kind of
sweet on eachother. I say she's only having 'boy friends' and not 'boyfriends' until she's 20!!!!

Last week her little friend Aidan walked up and kissed her on the lips. I nearly fell out! Belle and her three little girl friends (See-wah, Aba and Rabie aka Sarah, Ava and Railey) are in a 'kissy-huggy' phase and give each other a kiss goodbye every afternoon. Aidan didn't want to be left out.

That's cute...

My faith in TA is restored.... she was finally able to get the passholder rate applied.... yikes... I was getting worried.... she did tell me if a Disney Visa promotion came out I would have to pick one or the other... she said the agent at Disney she talked to said IF they came out with one the passholder rate would be better..... but if it was free dining then I think that is better!!! Lets cross our fingers for FREE DINING!!!!!

I'm glad it worked out!
Free Dining probably wouldn't be a better deal for us, because there's only two of us. It's kind of an even trade off, and we'd have to pay for everything on Nov 20th, which doesn't appeal to me. I might change my mind though.

I tell my DD all the time... "Boys are nothing but trouble...stay away from them"...it hasn't worked... she has had the same boyfriend for 4 years...

and

I tell DS..."Girls are nothing but trouble...run away from them"....

so much for my parenting skills

:lmao:

Whew - Had to catch up on everything the past 4 days...what a chatty bunch you've been.

Thanks to all of you, my snowbird friends, for all your powerful prayers. Mom came through the 5 hour surgery well on Tuesday. She's still in ICU, but they hope to have her in a regular room tomorrow. It was a rough surgery, especially for someone her age and not in the best of health. But, so far, so good. PT had her sitting up yesterday - YAH! She's not out of the woods yet, but so far so good......

I wish her a speedy recovery :wizard:

OK here is my vote for hottest guy (not Disney-sorry)

Will20Smith-ASG-004317.jpg

Mmm... he hasn't been in any Disney movies, has he? It's a shame, I think he would do a good job.

I hope everyone had a good Halloween. We are home now and it is time to check all the candy. Of course there has to be the taste testing of some for quality control.

I have just thought of a brilliant idea!!!:goodvibes I went on Disney on line shopping and keep finding all these great buys that I can't get or for that price even match up here. My DH's grandparents are leaving for Florida in 2 weeks and if I see anything I will purchase it online and send it to their address. Then any purchases my MIL can bring up with her when she visits us in Disney. Woo Hoo!!:cool1: :yay: No duty or extra taxes!!!!!! I have heard that can really add to the price and sometimes make it more costly to ship to Canada.

I can't wait to share the idea with DH's family. I am certain they won't mind. I sometimes think the deals on the site are selling for a song. It is very hard to resist some of those sales. I would also think I might be able to get free shipping too when they have those deals. That would be so great. I never did it before as I didn't think it fair to have them bring up our stuff and take out of their allowed allotment ($) to bring back.

Wow! I saw all of the kazillions of people on TV all afternoon. That was some party! I did wonder how they were all going to get back home again. Glad you finally made it. I still can't believe they won.

I forgot to add that I can't keep up with this thread. There are 17 new pages since last evening! I guess I'll just have to skim through them.

We had a blast tonight at our carnival. I worked the first shift and then got to walk around with my mom, G and Belle. Belle and her friend Faith cut a rug for everyone at the puppet show. They were both dressed like Minnie Mouse, so that made it even better! ::MinnieMo

Afterwards we went to a gourmet pizza joint. I had Philly Cheesesteak Pizza. It was SO GOOD!!!! Probably not as good as the real thing, but it did the job. I'm stuffed!

I probably won't be around this weekend - it's jam-packed with things to do!

Oh, to just be able to stay in all weekend and watch movies in bed! Those were the days!
