just bites... I hope she doesn't find us here in our happy place...... I feel bad for the other lady who was just trying to save her family some money..... I stuck with my TA .... not that she has really done much... as I call her all the time and tell her what is going on... but I work in sales... it was the right thing to do... I called and told her about the DUY code so she code apply it to other folks that she might have going at that time... she didn't even know about it yet.... I hope it saves someone some money....
First off, thanks for all the birthday wished for DD.
Second, that January Code Watch thread is out of control. Some of the people are obsessed with codes. A code should not be a determining factor of your Disney trip. I count my blessings every day that we can go again this year. But we make sure we can afford the trip (code or not) before we book. If we get a code and it saves us money, great! It will be money for the trip that can be used elsewhere. Hopefully, money spent on me!

The "other" thread should be avoided!! They don't have any more info that we do. We are so much nicer here.
I was thinking about all this craziness though. Are there that many of us that are going in January that if we are eligible for these deals, that unless we rush and get in on them on the first day, we won't get them? What, are there only three rooms available for the codes? I know it's limited, but really. Half the world doesn't even know these things exist. The relatively few people on these boards are knowledgeable and can't possibly use up all the rooms with deals available. Especially since there are varying dates for people going and for the discounts.
I admit, I'm all worked up too, but what, really is the urgency? Just wondering if I'm missing a key point.

I was under the impression that it was first come first serve and that I would be competing for my code discount. Thanks for putting it into perspective for me. For me personally I'm having a panic attack over codes because I need to keep it under $2000 including dining, which is why we are staying in a value. We booked, things happened with my dh's job, we had already made plans to do this with other family members and don't want to cancel- it may be my parent's last visit. Plus my son (and who are we kidding here- me too) would be majorly bummed. So in short I really need a code but I DO need to sit back, relax and have a little faith- and a pinch of pixie dust wouldn't hurt either!
Hopefully I will get to it in the next few weeks. I'm going to tie it onto my bag.
