Here's my babies this Halloween!

My daughter is Bedtime Bear---don't you love the pouty face. I told her she had to wait her turn and that's the face she gave me. What can I say the girl loves her some candy!

My son is Woody and would wear the costume all day every day if I let him!

DUY doesn't work. The CM had no clue about it. I hung up before I refreshed and saw your question about FKR so I didn't get a chance to ask about that one. I wonder if people are pulling our leg in DIS-land? Not to have a potty mouth but FKR makes me wonder?

Hmm... well that's just annoying... why would people make up pretend codes? It's not like they get to sit and watch you call and then laugh when the CM tells you it doesn't exist.

Okay I seriously need to chill out! I'm getting way too obsessed with all this code stuff.

I have called Disney twice today.

I have 6 tabs open on my computer- mousesavers, the DIS discounts page, the DIS forums, my email, Disney Visa, and Disney. com discounts page.

My poor refresh button is probably going to break soon.

I just want to save a little so we can still go. Is that too much to ask?

Shelly go ahead and call!! I didn't think my AP would count for my dates and it turned out that I still got a discount on my dates not covered in the code!! It can't hurt for you to see...maybe the discount on those days will be 20% instead of 30%!! But trust me at least call and find out!!!!

I wonder if they wouldn't give it to me because my first date is the 24th. Could I pay regular for that night and then get the discount starting on the 25th? Also if you apply a code and a better one comes out with Visa can you change it for whichever is a better deal?

I haven't called yet. I am still waiting on the Visa code. I hate to have to call several times. I usually don't get the most friendly and helpful CM's on the phone. I am going to wait at least until after 12:00. . . . Maybe something else will pop up!

I guess I'm thinking if I call with a list of 5 or 6 codes then at least one of them will have to apply to me, right???

A very big case of the sillies- but I think you deserve to have some giggles after last week! I love the crosstitch one- perhaps they would be willing to reschedule your surgery til the day after the sale. Glad you're feeling better!

So, *hangs head* I was kind of considering that if my surgery is in the afternoon, taking the whole day anyway and then going to the sale in the morning, since it's also on the 14th... but they're only open business hours during the week. Of course, i do NOT need any more cross-stitch stuff. Trust me. But it's a SALE!!!

Luckily, she just laughed. My boss totally rocks.

Yesterday, we went to a meeting. It was on the 4th floor of a building. We got on the elevator first and, at the next level, my former supervisor and my replacement stepped on. We both said hi to her. She kind of half-smiled at me but totally ignored my supervisor. Prior to that moment, I kind of wondered if I'd been making up her reactions to me (it's a long story and it's not a really nice one) but I figured even my current boss couldn't ignore it.

After the meeting, I said to my boss "That elevator ride is a reminder of why I really enjoy being here." She just looked at me, shook her head, and said "That was very weird."

Which is why candy thievery is amusing rather than annoying and coworkers with bad attitudes are better than ex-bosses with chips on their shoulder.

PLUS!! Since I'm healthy now... my coworker dropped a half dozen Halloween sized bandy bars on my desk. I've only had one. I've had no caffeine. I'm still really really really silly.

Haha.. I have a million tabs open as well... Snowbirds, Jan 2009 code watch, ITR (Fort Riley's Ticketing center, I'm going to have Logan call about getting APs through the military) Walt Disney Ticketing (I'm trying to find out what my cost would have been before my AP discount) the Disney Sweepstakes page (because I realized I hadn't entered in a while) and my e-mail....

I'm trying to get clarification from the person on the Jan Code thread, because they seem to have added dining, and gotten an AP discount, but I'm not sure how much the discount was, and/or I'm just confused.
My TA told me that the Dining Option wasn't available yet... course that was an e-mail from last night, and this is this morning....

I should just let it go and be happy with what I have... but I am OBSESSED!!!

However, I have class in an hour... so it WILL end at some point...

Good morning Snowbirds....Nursing a horrible toothache here in PA, but gotta check in for the codes...LOL

Love everyone's costumes I miss those days.

I am new to all this code stuff, last time I went to Disney you got what you booked and that's it. I booked my trip thru AAA if I call her about this DUY code will it benefit me, or should I still hang tough for another. Can I call and take that discount and than get more off if another code comes out?

I have my money on something coming out tomorrow! Most people said past years have come out on 31st. I'll be thinking happy thoughts of big discounts for everyone!
After tomorrow I'll be joining the waiting boat hoping for some Pirate & Princess party dates which are also due out!

You can only apply one Code, which means one discount. You have to choose one or the other. If you decide to use the DUY code, then if something better comes out you have to drop DUY and pick up (insert new code here) Sometimes the individual codes include discounts on multiple aspects of your vacation, but sometimes they're just one thing.
So if DUY is a 20% or 30% discount off a room-only, then that's all you can get. If they offer a different discount like Free Dining, then you will have to pick EITHER 20-30% off OR Free Dining, you cannot do both.
The General Public offer from last year was Free Ticket Upgrade (Park Hoppers & Water Parks and more, which is about $100 per person) plus a small room discount. I think it was something like 7%.

Exactly! For this trip I figured it would probably be one of the only times I'll actually get to stay on the property (at least at a Disney owned resort) so I might as well let somebody else do all the phone work.
In June we're most likely staying at my BIL's parents' so no phone work there. Though I might look into spending a couple nights on the property with my youngest brother and sister. I think it would be really fun for them, (we could take midday breaks, and do the EMH...maybe even the DP) but we'll have to see what kind of prices I'm looking at, because I'm poor, and June is not value season.

So it's hit or miss but something else to try!
