We are at 89 days...... time to party.........we finally are under 3 months.....  popcorn:: :woohoo: :yay:
:dance3: :cheer2: party:
:rockband: party:

I just counted out our days we're wanting and it's 89!!! Since this was a spur of the moment idea, it's all coming together pretty quickly! We haven't made room ressies, but have made ADR's "just in case." I wanted Cali Grill for hubbys bday on 1/27! I thought I'd surprise him, but as soon as he got home I had to spill the beans-it's his favorite and we skipped it in May! Now hubby's new ideas are: trading in my car for something to drive to Disney (anyone ever driven a Mazda5)? and second, finding him a GPS. The man loves his toys!

Just an FYI for any of you Pixar and Cars fans, Toon Disney is showing a new short tonight at 6:56pm. Matter's Tall Tales episode "Rescue Squad Matter" is a new short to help us with our Cars fix until the new movie comes out in 2011. There are two additional shorts being shown Tuesday at 6:57pm, as well as 6:57pm on Wednesday titled "Matter the Greater" and "El Materdor". These should be fun!:)

Did anybody else watch this? It was cute. Our Son loved seeing something new with Matter. It was really short but we'll take anything new dealing with Cars. He can't wait to see the next two.

Meghan, I feel your pain with the desktop. I never use ours anymore. It's slow and in the office. With the laptop, I can be anywhere!

Okay, I'll bite - what is the World's Largest Disco?

I use our desktop to upload my pictures. I have a Kodak camera so I use the Kodak gallery thing to edit and crop my pictures, etc.

Ok, World's Largest Disco.....It's at the Buffalo Convention Center every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. It started in 1994 to mark the 15th anniversary of the "real" World's Largest Disco. The first one was in 1979 at the convention center. I guess it's in the Guiness Book of World Records and there were 13,000 people there! My dance team performs there every year and we have a blast! Everyone dresses up in their best disco gear and there is always a celebrity guest. Last year it was Erik Estrada from "Chips". Other guests have been Danny Bonaduce, the Hanson Brothers, Christopher Knight, etc. If you want to check it out in more detail, they have a website...worldslargestdisco.com. All of the money raised goes towards Camp Good Days and Special Times.

Shelly - I have a change to make  We changed our resort to CBR! I think you conviced me with all the talk about how great it is! Hope you are right!

Good evening.

Yeah, not even going to try and pretend to read everything. When I left this morning we were on page 14 and now... yeah not doing it!:rotfl:

I'm off to find me some dinner, which means I'm ordering in because I'm to lazy to make anything today!

I'll be back...

As usual, I'm trying to catch up...

Welcome to all the new Snowbirds! :grouphug:

Northern Disney Girl: I feel your pain, my little daycare girl (23 mos.) napped for only 45 minutes today- and that was after it took me more than 20 minutes to get her to sleep!

sarbah77: I'm so sorry today was such a frustrating day for you. Perhaps a second opinion isn't such a bad idea? Hope you hear back from you regular Dr. tomorrow. I'll be thinking of you. :flower3:

Kazooie: Thanks for the heads up about the Mater films! We missed it tonight but I'll remember for the next two. My son is a huge Cars fan and will love them!

I'm off to watch a little tv with the hubby check in tomorrow!

I too am a little worried about flying in the winter. I've flown in March before, and it was very windy. I'm hoping that we won't have to wait to de-ice the plane or anything like that! I would flip out.

Every trip I took last winter, from November through March, required a de-icing in at least one direction and on one leg. It's not bad. It's only a problem for me when I'm in my wannagowannagowannagowannago mode. Plus, it's better than the altnernative!!

First time it ever happened to a plane I was on was... Disney, January 2005!

Hey guys/girls: A friend just emailed an alert about a recall on chocolate gold coins halloween candy sold in Canada. They were made in China and have melamine in them - as did the baby formula that killed so many.

It has been verified via Snopes. I'll try to attach the link. I know we have some Canadian friends, so I thought I'd share.

I just got this email today and wanted to pass it on.

HALLOWEEN CANDY RECALLED

There is a new warning put out by the Canadian Food Inspection
Agency....

Sherwood brand Pirate's Gold Milk Chocolate coins are being recalled
due to the fact that they contain Melamine, the ingredient in milk
product that has caused many infant deaths in china. These candies are
sold at Costco, as well as many bulk and dollar stores. please make
sure to check your childrens halloween candy and DO NOT LET THEM EAT
THE PIRATE COINS (you know the ones wrapped in the shiny gold foil) and
please let other parents know about this!

(you can verify this on snopes:

Oh hey, it actually worked! I'm getting better at this techno stuff!

Meghan...I probably missed this if you said it already...what dance team are you on?

Sara...sorry about you issues with the surgeon...I also say you should get a second opinion...never hurts.

We do secret Santas on both sides of the family...one is $30 and one is $50. Each person lists a few things that they want and then we draw a name. We buy presents for all kids under the age of 18.

I tried to post yesterday, but it was Trick or Treating in my part of Wisconsin...and now tonight, my DH shot a buck with a bow...so much for my nice family dinner we were going to have tonight. So, I decided to come and see my Dis friends...and Part 3, page 28...what the heck? I was trying to read from page 1 on this Part 3, and all of a sudden, the pages were "GROWING" in size and I had to just jump in rather than wadding in the water.

It's Monday, and no codes! What the deal?:confused3 Anyone have an inside scoop? Are we going to see anything this week for discounts? I'm getting antsy...

Oh, and the flakes are falling again in Wisconsin...I don't mind snow, I just hate driving in more than 2 inches of the stuff.:sad2:

Yeah it was snowing earlier today. It made me crabby at work!

I'm just sitting here watching the baseball game tonight. It's raining like crazy in Philly!

I'm on a professional dance team for the National Lacrosse League. If you haven't heard of the league, it's ok. It's starting to grow in popularity. Right now, there are 13 teams (Boston, Buffalo-woo hoo!, Calgary, Chicago, Colorado, Edmonton, Minnesota, New York, Philadelphia, Portland, Rochester NY, San Jose, and Toronto). I encourage everyone, if there is a team near you, go check it out. Its a physical game, but yet family friendly. We have the most diehard fans unlike anything I've ever seen! Plus, Buffalo won the Championship this past May and it was unbelievable!!! The season starts in January and goes through April. If you want more info, head over to nll.com :)

Thank you for this important information. We also received it from our children's school. I cannot believe that any food item would contain Melamine. I also don't know how this got by our federal food inspection agency. This is very scary.

Please don't mind me celebrating, I don't think I have ever cracked a top 10 list for posting. :woohoo: :yay:

I will try to keep up to the rest of you. I don't know if I can as my computer or these boards are so sssslllllooooowww tonight for me. I tried to log on 3 times and my computer kept on telling me that it timed out. We have high speed service so I don't know what is going on.

Welcome all new snowbirds.:grouphug: I hope we can all make it to our Disney trips. Our Canadian $ keeps going down, so I am hoping we all receive a really great codes to make it more affordable for everyone. Who doesn't want to spend a bit more $$ on souvenirs?

Shelly thank you for all your restaurant menus. I had already made the decision to eat now at Cooke's and I showed DH the menu. He is very excited. He still wants to try Earl of Sandwich as he thinks the name is cool. We will OOP that one. Could I ask for a CS menu at Epcot? That is where we will be spending most of our time other than MK.

Thanks Remmy

Sure is...they have stopped the game. Of course after TB scored and tied it up. It is not going to be any better tommorow here. Cold wet, and windy.

I told my friend earlier that there would be a lot of people in Philly calling in sick tomorrow! Stay warm!

Please don't mind all my posts, I wish to keep in the top 10.

I couldn't believe when I left this morning we were on Page 9. Have we set a record for the most Snowbird pages in one day?

I have a small update on my MIL visit. She and her sister and BIL plan on going down to Florida the same 2 weeks we are there. I will not feel so bad now to ask her to come up for 2 of our more flexible days during the week. We truly don't want to mess around too much with our ADRs and I don't know if she wants to stay the whole day or only to supper and have her sister and BIL pick her up when done. They are staying off site. We are so happy to have her be with us and get her all to ourselves. We have old passes from my first visit with their whole family that she kindly purchased and myself and DH still have one day left each and they are Hopper passes too, thus she will only have to pay for her meals not the tickets. This way we have lots of flexibility.

Now the whole family (DH's) is talking about going down together next September! We will wait to see if they actually book and when (now changed their week to go 4 different times) and how everyone's situation is. I don't know if we can afford 2 Disney trips in one year, but we will see if it is meant to be.

Thanks Remmy

I am from Calgary and I went to a game with my work in the summer. It was a lot of fun (even for a girl who does NOT like sports!)
