Morning all..... WOW have the snowbirds been a busy bunch. Last time I was on was when it was still on list I...... My family is getting more excited about the trip now. I'm buying my airfare this friday along with the other 20 people that are going. Does anybody know if the airline give some sort of discount to a large group... i doubt it....

I don't know about group discounts, but I just got an e-mail with some fabulous rates from AirTran. Good luck!

I was just visiting with a co-worker who just got back from WDW. She spent a week at POR. They loved it and did the DDP - lots of character meals. She said crowds were not bad. She was showing me pictures - now I'm even more excited!!
They got bounceback offer where if they rebooked, they could get free dining. Not sure of the dates it would apply. They aren't able to go back within a year, so that's too bad. Maybe we'll get lucky!

It seems that free dining is a popular offer - it gets more people in the parks/resorts and on the plan. I bet they keep doing it given how the economy is forcing people to cancel trips.

are you all flying from the same airport? call and talk to group sales...doesn't hurt to ask

I don't have time to go through the entire code thread can someone please just answer this for me? The codes that are out now are just for Disney Visa & Annul Pass holders right? Nothing out there for the rest of us?

Just AP so far. Nothing yet for Visa.

Thank you I took off work yesterday to pick up my mom from the airport in Madison & have a ton of catch up to do. At work & DIS too lol:rotfl:

I remember last year we got free park hoppers when we called in but we also only made or reservations 3 weeks ahead too.

My goodness you all have been chatty this morning!

A weird question....Does anybody else notice that the DIS clock is wrong? :confused3 It has been driving me crazy for the last week! Like right now as I am writing this post, it is 12:12pm. The clock on the DIS says it is 10:47am! It is making me crazy - I have no idea of correct posting times! :upsidedow

So everybody is getting a little code crazy, eh? I hear that tomorrow could be the day! :woohoo: I too am feeling a little impatient! ;)

I am so happy that we don't have snow yet! :woohoo: This morning when I woke up it was -5C! That is actually pretty cold for this time of year! We don't usually see snow and subzero temps until AFTER HAlloween! :)

Hope everybody stays warm and dry and toasty while :surfweb: waiting for codes! :goodvibes

I can't believe all that SNOW! WOW! A snowman? I Jersey in October? :confused3 I guess I should be thankful that all we got today was rain. Miserable, chill to the bone rain, but just rain. No shoveling!

I hear tell it's going to be a rough, snowy winter. Seems likely, given the amount of snow you all had! WOW!

So, an AP code is out. When will us peons without APs or Disney visas get our code?:rolleyes1

Can't wait for the discount to come out...Mom said we may be able to upgrade to a moderate from Pop depending on the discount.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK:yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

OMG I just got off the phone with the most wonderful CM ever (Bogart was his name). I was trying to apply my AAA discount and I mentioned that as soon as I got to Disney I would be upgrading to the Florida Seasonal Pass (I have already bought my 4-day pass, but I need 7 days and it just makes sense at that point to get the Annual pass so I can go back free later in the year)...anyways I'm totally rambling...

He was like well let's try to apply the AP code to your reservation instead. I then told him I was under the impression that since my dates weren't included I couldn't get the AP rate. Well he did something magical and a balance of $587.25 became a balance of $364.50 (not including the deposit I put down) I just saved 220.00 on my resort!! YAY YAY YAY YAY!!

Okay I promise to calm down now..I apologize for the franticness of my posts earlier!! I can tend to be on the dramatic side...so I'm sorry to any of you that I bothered!

HUGE thanks to all of you who took the time to answer my many questions!!

Afternoon everyone!
Been a busy morning I see! I hope everyone gets the codes they want tomorrow!
Just FYI, even if you haven't got a pin code email or postcard, give them a call and ask to check if there is a code attached to your name. Especially if you've been in the past and booked through Disney. I had a code attached to my name last year and didn't even know about it! It was for 40% off too

The rain has FINALLY stoped here! :woohoo: :woohoo:
Sorry to all those snowbirds who are now covered in snow! I hope things lighten up soon, but I have a feeling we're in for a loooong winter.

Alrighty time to go figure out what I want for lunch!

YAY for you!!!!!

Crossing my fingers you are right!!!! The snotty CM I spoke with this morning laughed at me (in a maniacal kind of way) when I mentioned free dining in January and said he highly doubts it. Phooey on him :snooty: - I'm still keeping my hopes up til I hear otherwise! :wizard:

Hopefully tomorrow or Friday we'll hear something. My poor computer must be tired. I've had so many tabs open this morning all at once and I just keep refreshing all the sites to see if there's any new code news (mousesavers, chase for disney visa, dis, disney. com and my email just in case they decide to pick me for a beloved pin number! ):goodvibes
