QOTD - I think I'm most looking forward to getting away from the real world and spending the time with just my DH and DS. Oh, then there's the fact that it's DISNEY!!

And, since it's Friday, and we can always use a party....I just hit 50 posts!! Okay, so it's not the grandeur of all of you others, but I'm getting there!!! (I mean, I've been registered for what, a little over a year ?!? ) So, here's my party

What is the ONE thing you are most excited about for your up coming trip?

Good question! I have a feeling it was asked before...but things change, and we've got lots of new folks joining in. I'll answer it!

The one thing I'm most excited about? Just one thing? It would have to be the anticipation of the Disney magic that I know will sweep over my kids the moment we enter the Magic Kingdom on our first day in Florida! I can't wait to see their faces when they see Cinderella's Castle off in the distance down Main Street. Or see Mickey Mouse live and in person. I just know I'm going to want to capture that first moment of magic!

Of course, following closely behind are all selfish things: trying out new coasters and rides and enjoying the DDP! I never dreamed I'd be on the dining plan and be thinking about having meals with characters! I'm loving my mom every step of the planning way!

Oh My Gosh, I can feel my back end getting bigger just thinking about it!!!

What kind of candy bar? Not that it matters I guess, just curious!

I've had snickers and peanut butter cups, and I've seen milky way ones!!! Yummo!!!

Ahh - I can think of so many -these limitations are hard!

I think breakfast in the castle before the park opens is it, but I keep thinking that "just getting there" is honestly my real answer! I can't wait to try a new resort and to see the excitement on my kids' faces...

Oh - and then there's always Toy Story Mania! (sorry! I'm up to 3 things now!)

What is the ONE thing you are most excited about for your up coming trip?

I really get excited when I think of our first few steps inside the Magic Kingdom. It takes me about half way down Main Street to really believe that we are there. So I guess the one thing I am most excited about will be the looks on my DS and DD face when they see the Castle at the end of Main Street...it's just pure delight!

We fly in on Thursday night and have 8:05 am Ressies at the Crystal Palace Our first steps into "The World" are going to seem even more special to me because the streets will be almost empty! Weeeee!now I'm excited just thinking about it!

Hands down-my one thing is enjoying my family at Disney!! They are soooooo excited there-even tho they aren't sure when we are going back-they can't wait!! Hence,..this is why I keep it a secret. They would actually perish at knowing the countdown! Ha!!! Mike and I enjoy it as much, but there is just something about watching those little faces..... Kinda makes me sad how big they are getting--but, at least we can do this annually!!!! Hopefully for years to come!!

Awww, sorry to hear about your cat. I believe that cats know when their time is up and it's quite possible she did, too. Growing up, we knew when our cats went into hiding, well... (and, oddly, the last time that happened, my mom called the vet to make The Appointment and the cat immediately came out of hiding and sat by her carrier. That was heart breaking. That was also the day I decided I'd marry my DH since he comforted me all night!) I hope you and your kids will do okay if your cat doesn't come home.

I totally agree with this...animals have such a keen sense of themselves and the environment around them. I have had to deal with this many times and I truly believe that some animals just know when their time as come.

Either way I know this is a hard situation to deal with Kim...my love and thoughts are with you and your girls through all of this. It is never easy to lose a pet, especially when they are like your family.

You're right, just enjoying Disney with my family is so great. It just makes me realize how blessed I am with a wonderful family and being able to go to WDW.

It makes me sad too that the kids are getting older. I wonder how much longer they will have the joy and excitement of going to Disney. Hopefully for many years to come. I know right now it is killing them with the thought that we aren't going back to Disney until 2010 (or so they think!). It is killing me not telling them. I will be so relieved to tell them on Christmas. Now if I can just make it through the next 2 months!!!

Good Morning Snowbirds!

I'm supposed to be working (gasp!), but I hurt my back this morning while I was dropping DDs off at school. Exactly how I don't know. I must have just turned funny and pulled something out of whack between my shoulder blades. So I took lots of ibuprofen and am doing ice on and off. But rats! I have too much stuff to do to be hurting, you know? I have to get 9 carved pumpkins back to school by 3:00 for DDs' "Harvest Blessings" fall festival this evening. Don't quite know how I'm going to manage that, yet.

So this Cooke's of Dublin is a CS version of Raglan Road? I didn't know it even existed. How is that possible? Is it right near RR?

Oh, Poor you!! I hope you get to feeling better soon. Nothing is worse than when something in your body just hurts, especially when to move. I hope the ibuprofen does it thing and you have a day that isn't too painful!!

WOOHOO!!!! Congratulations!

Do you all have short sleeve t-shirts to wear in the parks? I'll be sad if we have to cover them all up with jackets every day, all day! But I'd be sadder if the weather was so warm that we couldn't wear a long sleeve t all day and that's all I made. I guess I'll just go with short sleeves and jackets and pray for SUN!

Still waiting for that special January code! I'm so impatient...but now that the Canada deal has been out, we should be getting something soon, right?

I would bring long sleeve shirts to wear under your Disney tees. That way if you get hot you can just go to the bathroom and take off the long sleeve. It would be easier to lug around than a coat anyways...

Wow...army stuff made it into tubs in the garage they didn't even get a place in the house LOL!! Right now I think my living room is pretty classy doesn't look too much like a hunting lodge, but then he's like we have to mount my antelope horns...I'm like where the laundry room?? LOL!!

The Mickey Rice Krispie treats I hadnt even thought of that!! YAY!! Those would be okay a day or too...Im so going to do it!! THANK YOU!!

We're not going to have a garage for a while when we get married. We do have a storage closet off the patio, but I'm not sure if he would put his stuff in there. A lot of his stuff he actually keeps in his truck, but he doesn't like leaving it in the tail bed, because he's afraid it will get stolen, so he locks it into the cab, which drives me crazy whenever I have to drive his truck with all the stuff piled onto the seat next to me. I told him that I'm never letting him buy a truck again, because it's not like he uses the "truck" part anyways... We'll see how long I can hold out on that one...

Those must be room only offers. No one has mentioned a package offer yet. . . Still waiting . . .

The one thing I am most looking forward to is introducing my DH to Mickey and Minnie, he's never ever met them before.

The one thing I'm most excited about is the fact that this is my trip to Disney. I don't have any children yet to enjoy the magic with and after the disaster that was taking my NDH (non-Disney) last time I am going solo. I'm looking forward to eating where I want to eat...and boy does that Cooke's sound good!! Riding my rides and I'm really excited about my KTTK tour YAY!!

Okay I'm just looking forward to the whole trip LOL

BTW I have an extra evening now (and Yes I'm going to pay to upgrade because my trip and I can LOL..I sound so rotten LOL) So now I have to decide where I want to eat that night and I want to do a CS...I like the look of the Cooke's menu YUMMY!!!
