My goodness...I don't log on for a few hours and I have 7 pages to get through!
Really, at this rate we'll be to the next thread by Friday!
Now....to catch up!!
QOTD - I would have to say Little Mermaid, Lion King or Aladdin. We've got a couple of the Disney Collection CDs that have a great selection from all the movies.
It's a beautiful fall day today. The sun is shining and high's in the 50/60s. The leaves are changing colors.
Regarding excitiment about this trip. I think alot of my "lack of excitment" has to do with the economy. My DH is in the banking industry....it's a scary time.
Plus, this year we're doing the CS dining plan, so no ADRs to plan our park days around. We'll monitor the EMH days and probably avoid some of those parks, but no real "intense" planning needed on our part. And, since we were there less than a year ago.... I'm sure once the holidays pass the excitment will build!
Speaking of the holidays....one of the local car dealerships does a really nice thanksgiving commercial every year....it's playing already!!! Really, can't we get through one holiday first! And all the Christmas stuff that's in the stores!! Although, I do have more than half of my Christmas shopping done already!!
Okay...I think I'm caught up.

My goodness we have have chatty this morning!
to get through and a sink full of dishes to wash so I seriously do not have time to go back and read all 10 pages!
I took my little DC girl to the store to pick up a few things and on our way out, as I was buckling her into her seat, I noticed that a small child had been left alone in the car parked a couple spaces over!
It appeared to be a girl and she was probably about 3-4 yrs old. She was sound asleep, covered with a blanket and the car windows were open a bit. I looked around to see if there was a parent in sight. I didn't see anyone. I didn't know what to do! She appeared to be fine but I felt so bad for her too! My little DC girl was starting to get very fussy and I had to leave otherwise I would have taken down the liscence # of the vehicle and gone inside the store. I prayed and asked God to protect the little girl and hoped furiously that whoever was responsible for her would return quickly! This has happened to both my DH and myself befor so we talked about it and said that we should contact the police staion and find out what the right thing is to do in that situation! Now I can't stop thinking about that little one and hoping she is alright!
We are considering park hopping, but will make that decision when we get there.

I love them both!

I'll be there soon enough!
Of course it says they don't usually excuse family vacations, but any absences over 7 days gets you in trouble. The principal can allow them to be excused. I figure I'll talk to the teachers ahead of time and let the principal know too. I don't expect to be hauled into truancy court, but I figure if I'm up front about it, maybe they'll cut me some slack.
