Bella~ Do you spray your Uggs with anything? I don't want to ruin them--they are sooooo cute and comfortable!!
Okay Northern ladies--or whoever can help me!!! New Yorkers!!!!
My oldest son is turning 13 early dec (4th) and he is just really wanting to go to New York--he's always wanted to go. so,....I know nothing about it, except that the streets are laid out pretty grid like--so you can't get TOOOOO lost, and that Mary Poppins is on Broadway!!! What should you tell me???? Should I really pursue this? $$$ is the only thing right now, with a Disney trip in January--that of course the kids don't know about. So,... if dh thinks we can swing it---what next? We would have to fly- I am NOT driving that far. Unless he got a HUGE motorhome!anyway, is this a good 13 yo trip-give me honesty!!!! Tips, hints, insight!!!
A sweet elderly man just came into my church with a private detective. He is on a search for his pre-war sweetheart. He lost touch with her after the war and has been searching for her for years.I nearly cried!
On another note, my dad works for Volvo and he says they (as in the luxury car industry) are really struggling. He is very worried about his job.![]()

It's funny that you ask, Shawna.![]()
I am on a mission this weekend to find something to spray my boots with. I wore my black Steve Madden's today and they are already SO dirty! They will never hold up in time for Honeymoon #2 at this rate.![]()
I'll let you know what I find!

No offense- but "Bureaucracy in Modern Society" sounds like a yawn!![]()
It's probably a good thing you are able to bring the fun of Disney into it to liven it up!![]()

Good evening everyone. Well, I won't be on here too much over the next few days. I will try to squeeze out some DIS time tomorrow though. Let's see...what's on the agenda for tomorrow.
Breakfast in the morning with my two sisters and my mom, pumpkin spice pedicure (doesn't that just sound wonderful?) with them in the afternoon, wedding rehersal at 6pm, rehersal dinner at 7pm. Since the tuxedo place sent the wrong shoes for my DH, we have to go back to pick up the right shoes tomorrow afternoon.I might try to fit in one more tanning session (my darn tank top tan just won't go away!) in the afternoon as well.
Then, Saturday is my big sister's big day!I'm so excited!!! On Sunday, my parents are having a brunch for our out of town guests, wedding party, etc. We're also celebrating my DD's birthday that day with our extended family since they'll all be in town. Wow. What a weekend! So, I'll try to peek on in here tomorrow! Have a great weekend everyone!
Have a wonderful time.... couldn't have asked for a better weekend in NY for October.... wow..... make sure to post some photos after....
If you end up needing help, let me know. DH just finished jury duty, it stunk! Luckily he got thrown out for the big murder case.
My DSIL kissed the real Stanley Cup!
I'm over on your side of the state, in Frankenmuth. Spent most of the day and way too much money at Bronners.
Trixie.... I love Frankenmuth... the best bread knife I ever bought I got there... for like $2.... and it still works great... long with a white handle... from Zendhers I think....
Hi everybody! I have a question for you. I keep going back and forth...I can't decide on Garden Grill or Coral Reef for dinner one night. I really like the idea of the personalized menu but my Mom, me and my boys don't like fish. My husband and Dad do?? I'm just not sure where to eat![]()
Which do you think would be better for our group??
We love Coral Reef.... one of the best steaks I ever had was from there.....
Since we are all talking about food...I'm sure this has already been asked but I'm curious...what is everyone's favorite Disney restaurant!! I have only eaten at Mama Melrose (we were more eat at the hotel and in the room people our last couple of trips)!! This is the first time I have more than one ARD ( WOOT!!) so I'm just curious to know..where is the one place you have to eat at when you go to Disney??? (I apologize if you have already answered this before..I'm just too curious and I love dining reviews LOL!!)
So many places...........so little time.................
Sorry to interrupt the food talk, holiday talk, and the various celebrations talk, but I have a celebration of my own...
DOUBLE DIGIT DANCE FOR![]()

(and look who wanted to join the party again...)
Wow, I started at a year, and now it is only 99 days. Only 90 days to go until I can start packing... after unpacking for the Christmas trip to grandma's house!)
Wow.... and the parties just keep on coming..........![]()

I think that Disney Visa has a special right now on Mary Poppins tickets.... I will be out of town until Sunday but if you want the info send me a PM and I can get it for you when I come back on Sunday...
Thanks for the hugs and prayers for my Dad, everyone! It means alot! He's really into the stock market, as well and this week has been very rough on me.
for you
for your dad
Have a wonderful weekend everyone... we are heading off to our camp for the a couple of nights.... no internet service in the mountains... see ya all on Sunday...........
We live Upstate and have gone to New York dozens of times. Visiting New York City is great at any age. Theres a million things to do in the City (don't forget the World of Disney Store on 5th Ave.). We sure couldn't live there (we're country folk
) but it is an amazing place to visit. There are a ton of websites out there with details on stuff to do. Some of the City Folk
can give you better details, but fly up and go for it. The City is an incredible place.

Like what kind? I didn't know about the Ugg brand. Can I give my advice?? I worked selling shoes for 7 years and the best thing to spray on those boots is an all protecter (any kind they are all the same) Make sure you turn your boots upside down so it gets into the stiching![]()
I like to look at them ahead of time anyway since my kids are such picky eaters. That way it doesn't take us forever to order!![]()
Thanks!!!
I did see some Ugg spray at Dillards--wasn't sure if it was worth the $$$ !

Wow, what a fun night I've had! Rehersal went very well and so did the dinner. My mom put together a little slide show of my sister and fiance. I just love looking at old pictures! We have a very busy weekend, so I probably won't be around until Sunday evening or Monday. I will definately post some pics of the wedding next week! Later!
