Yes Galena. We just had Ladies Getaway Weekend. Now we have some "quiet" time till the leaves change & then all **** breaks loose.

And for those who are part of the WDW Tub Support Group... here's mine (and I added one more thing to it Friday after the pic was taken- I need a bigger tub!) I didn't realize I had pciked up so many tshirts for my dd until I pulled it all out for a picture. Perhaps I'll keep a copy of the pic with me so I don't grab stuff I don't need while shopping from now on.

Inside the tub are all of the toiletries in organized gallon bags and outside is everything else I've grabbed along the way!

Hey, I recognize several things from your tote that are in mine!!Wipes in a princess cover, deoderant, razor, shave gel... How funny!!!

Hey Snowbirds!!~ Had a busy day--had to get up and going--my lady that comes and dusts/cleans for me (that took off all summer with her kids) just came back today, so I had to get her started and do school with my kiddos. I love to clean, but I have an allergy to dust (severely) so, I finally got tired of the sinus infections and got a cleaning lady. What a blessing she is!!!
Peach3s--Thank the Lord you got your car!!!! I am very interested in what it's like over there--when you say your kids go to an Arab school, does that mean it's Arab children, or they speak Arabic, or what? How does that work? This can be a unit study for us sometime!!!

Bella-sorry your cookies messed up--what a bummer!! And your winter is the same as mine.For our Jan. trip we just packed a little of both, started out with clothes for cooler days and ended up with shorts.It was nuts. Best advice for Jan is just to watch the local weather on the internet for Orlando and weather underground or accuweather for about 2 weeks out.

QOTD-I love Nike or New Balance--I have a very high arch and these are great for me!! Kids wear their tenny's or crocs. I love the crocs that are like flip-flops. I forgot what they call them,but I wore mine last Jan on the days we did shorts. Actually they felt better than my tennys some days!!!

So DH and I went searching for some gear to take along to Disney. I can always talk him into things as long as it is related to electronics. Since deciding to fly, we are trying to determine what is essential to take along. Since learning that internet access is $10 per day, I think I'm going to leave my laptop behind. Now I need an alternative for movies and picture storage.

We were scoping out the Ipod Nano for movies during the flight. I have an MP3 that plays movies but it doesn't have a lot of storage. Does anyone have a Nano? If so, how do you like it?

I'm also going to get a super huge memory stick for all of my picture-taking fancies. You never know, I *may* take 2000 picutres


QOTD: My favorite shoes for Disney are sneakers. I will take my running shoes because they are broken in and comfy. I'm taking Sneakers and Crocs for Ry. I think I may invest in the mammoth ones for this winter.

I tried Disney in flip flops two years ago and after the third day, my feet were killing me. Of course, they weren't my Mickey Athen's Crocs.

QOTD - Crocs Caymans and Disney Beach Crocs in Red! (Actually Santa is bringing them for me and DD to match - he told me about it already )

I also have some good Grasshoppers that I may take for a nightime change if it's chilly. Those holes in the Crocs can certainly chill the tootsies!

I Just Bought the new nano for a 9 hour car ride and I LOVE it!!!!!!!! I am selling my old one on e-bay to make up some of the cost.
I got the 4GB and I have 3 T.V. shows and 2 audio books and have only taken up less then 2 GB.
The Picture quality is AMAZING! It's not hard for me to look at the screen at all. The T.V. shows aren't too expensive to buy and neither are the movies. I highly recommend the I-pod nano!

I usually wear flip flops...sometimes I'll wear my mary jane crocs. If we are going out at night to a nice dinner, I'll wear a nicer sandal with a heel.

I am getting my son one for Christmas and told DH that I think I want one too. I am getting ds the silver one & ordering it from Apple,so I can have his name etched on the back. We are going with the 8Gb--it's only $50 more and that's pretty much all he asked for, so we will go for it. I want the minty green one!! Pink and green are my fav colors, but I don't think I like that pink they are showing. Have to check it out @ wal-mart or target and get a close-up

And the wipes are from Walmart/Target both carry them around here. I also have them in Pooh and Cars. We use them not only for my dd tush but also to clean our hands throughout the day so I grabbed quite a few packs for the week.

The Cars and Princesses baggies were in the Dollar section at our local Target but only for a very short time. I grabbed them in sandwich size and the other packs are larger. I'm going to use them for single serving snacks for the car ride and days in the park. They also had a small lunch sack (in Cars and Princesses themes) with velcro closure which is in the picture too. Cheap and won't last long but WDW is only a week!

Where are pics of my fellow WDW TUB support group members??? I'm not feelin' the support right now!

SWEET, thank you! The zip locks were at Target in the $1 bins at the front of the store, a month or so ago maybe? I don't know what they do with those things as they cycle through stock... maybe they'll still have some!

I swear I heard a choir of angels when I found those zip locks... my three girls will be in HEAVEN! I'll have to make a Walmart/Target run this weekend to find the travel wipes.
