Great idea!!!! We are DVC owners and just booked our trip yesterday at the Boardwalk Villas for 1/23 - 1/31. Boardwalk is one of our home resorts but I hope to be able to switch my ressie over to Villa's at Wilderness Lodge at the 7 month mark. I LOVE Boardwalk but I would like to stay closer to the MK and I want to stay at some of the other DVC resorts also...

I like the looks of Boardwalk from what I've seen in pictures. I think I'd really like to stay there someday.

We are staying at POP because I wanted to stay on property, and having a "good transportation" system is kinda important because we don't want to rent a car. PLUS, one of the grad students where I work went, and said the resort was really neat..

Pop is a great resort! We have stayed there three times and we enjoy it everytime!
What are your dates for the trip? I hope that you enjoy planning! That is half the fun for me!

Definitely a fun resort, we stayed there last year. I wish I had taken more time to walk around and get pics of all the details.

We have a reservation for January 16-24 at the new All Star Family Suites. This will be my first trip with my kids. They will be 4 and 2. I am so excited!!!! My husband thinks I am crazy for planning everything this early!

We are going in Jan. also!! Probably the last week and probably at a value, not sure yet. Did they have a code for last January?? What was it?? 40% off your room??? If that is the case I may go to a mod!! I am very excited and have been planning like crazy...where to stay, where to eat, so many choices!!! My DH thinks I am crazy but this is out first trip so I can't wait!!

Me, DH, DS(5), DD(2) - it will be the kids first trip and my first time back in almost 20 years!!

We went in February this year and the code we got was a water parks & more ticket w/parkhopping instead of the standard MYW ticket. It might have brought the room price down a small amount also. We stayed at Pop. I was happy with the ticket upgrade as I didn't want to pay for the extra options not knowing what the weather was going to be for water parks. Friends of ours went in Feb. 2006 and they got the same code also. Happy planning.

We're going for the marathon in January. We like to stay at a monorail resort for the marathon, it makes it soooo much easier. Since we're staying at the Polynesian in July we'll probably do either the CR or GF for January trip. Anyone else going for the marathon?

I used this board like crazy to play our Thanksgiving trip in 04. I'm so thankful we went then, because in May of 05 we found out we were expecting our third little mouse

Anyway, she and her daddy share a birthday at the end of January (she'll turn two), and my older kids have two days off from school, so. . . sounds like a perfect week to introduce our new little princess to Disney. I can't wait. I planned our other trip in a little over a month, I don't know what I'll do for 10 months!

Anything special for those having a birthday at the park?

Well, I'm keeping my fingers crossed............but we are booked 12-19 Jan 2008. I actually have ressies at two places! If it ends up being just me and DD18, then we will stay at SOG. If she wants to bring a college friend along, then we have a one room at BWV.

It's been a while since we've gone at a slow time and are really looking forward to visiting ALL the attractions. We were just there 31 Mar thru 7 Apr 2007 (busy, busy, busy).

We have AP's and this would be a wonderful slow time to go.

Splash Mountain and RNR were both closed last January when we were there. I think they are both supposed to be open this year. I read somewhere that Typhoon Lagoon will be open for most of your trip. I think Blizzard Beach closes around the 5th.
